HARRISON CHASE IS DONE WITH HIS MARRIAGE, BUT HE ISN’T LEAVING THE HOUSE

TL;DR: Harrison Chase tells his lawyer he’s done and moves toward a legal separation while staying under the same roof for Phoebe. Brook Lynn vows to keep her daughter and turns to Valentin, while Britt pushes Willow toward Chase.

Chase Tells Monet He Is Done

In these General Hospital spoilers, Chase and Brook Lynn’s marriage moves from the bedroom to the law office. On Monday, Harrison Chase sits down with his attorney, Monet Mitchell, and tells her he’s sure. After his latest fight with Brook Lynn Quartermaine, he wants to move ahead with a legal separation. And he isn’t packing a single bag to do it.

Chase is staying right where he is, under the same roof as his wife and baby Phoebe. That’s Monet’s playbook, not a change of heart. When he first sat down with her on September 23, she told him a legal separation would shield him from any claim that he walked away from Phoebe, and that he should move back into the Quartermaine mansion right away. He did.

The fight that tipped him came Friday at the boathouse. Brook Lynn offered to find a place of their own, just the three of them, away from the family. Chase said no. Then he admitted the real reason: he was afraid she’d take Phoebe, run home to the Quartermaines and have her lawyer claim he abandoned them.

Brook Lynn Vows to Keep Phoebe

Brook Lynn heard every word. On Monday she tells Tracy Quartermaine exactly where she stands: “Whatever it takes to keep my daughter with me.” Tracy seems pleased, and no wonder. She and Michael Corinthos have been quietly pushing Chase toward Willow for weeks, hoping one slip hands Brook Lynn custody.

Brook Lynn already shoved Michael into the lake for planting Willow in the gatehouse. Now she’s weighing his custody advice after all. When your husband treats your marriage like a deposition, a girl starts thinking like a lawyer too.

Britt Pushes Willow Toward a Second Chance

Also on Monday, Britt Westbourne bonds with Willow Cain over matters of the heart, and her advice is blunt. Go get your second chance, because nobody is going to hand it to you. Willow hasn’t exactly hidden where her mind is. Remember that steamy daydream about Chase last month?

On Tuesday, Willow and Chase have a frank talk about the state of his marriage. He leans on his ex in the one house where Tracy and Michael would love to catch him leaning too far. By Thursday, Chase throws down the gauntlet. With Harrison Chase down the hall from his wife and Willow in the gatehouse, the question of who could end up with sole custody of Phoebe gets louder by the day.

Why Is Chase Still Living With Brook Lynn on General Hospital?

Because his lawyer told him to. Monet advised Chase to seek a legal separation and to move back into the Quartermaine mansion, so nobody could accuse him of walking away from Phoebe or of cheating. Staying put is a custody move. Brook Lynn knows it, and that’s exactly why it hurts.

Valentin Knows Brook Lynn’s Baby Secrets Better Than Anyone

On Tuesday, Brook Lynn confides in Valentin Cassadine, and spoiler chatter is calling him an unlikely ally. We beg to differ. Back in 2021, Brook Lynn passed off a baby named Bailey as her child with Valentin, all to get her hands on his ELQ shares. The baby was really Maxie’s daughter Louise, hidden away from her dangerous father.

And when Valentin learned the baby wasn’t his, who stepped up and claimed to be the father to protect Brook Lynn? Harrison Chase. The man who lied for her then won’t trust her with Phoebe now, and the man she lied to is the one she’s running to. Valentin has his own custody headaches, too, after deciding to send Charlotte off to boarding school.

Sole Custody Is the Prize Nobody Will Say Out Loud

Nobody has filed for custody yet, and no judge has weighed in. But every move this week points straight at Phoebe. Chase is building a record as the father who never left. Brook Lynn is ready to do whatever it takes. Tracy and Michael are just waiting for one bad night.

My gut tells me Valentin gives Brook Lynn advice she’ll regret taking, and that Willow’s second chance turns into Exhibit A in somebody’s custody filing. Catch every scheduled twist in our two weeks of spoilers, see who else is circling Phoebe, and look back at how Tracy opened the door for Chase in the first place.

Should Chase move out, or is staying the only way to protect Phoebe? Leave your verdict in the comments right here on this page.

Chase Wants a Paper Trail While Brook Lynn Wants Her Daughter

Chase thinks he’s playing it safe. Staying in that house with a lawyer’s script in his pocket is the coldest way a man has ever said “I still love you.” Brook Lynn has lied plenty, but she isn’t wrong to feel like a defendant in her own home.

We’re Team Phoebe, and right now neither parent is making it easy. Where Harrison Chase goes from here decides everything, so tell us whose side you’re on over on our Facebook page.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who is Monet Mitchell on General Hospital?

Monet Mitchell, played by Blythe Howard, is a new attorney in Port Charles and Jordan Ashford’s estranged younger sister. She arrived in September 2026, took a job with Alexis and Diane, and now represents Chase as he moves toward a legal separation from Brook Lynn.

Was Brook Lynn ever involved with Valentin on General Hospital?

Only as a con. In 2021, Brook Lynn faked a pregnancy and passed off a baby named Bailey as her daughter with Valentin to get his ELQ shares. The baby was really Maxie’s daughter Louise. When Valentin learned the truth, Chase covered for Brook Lynn by claiming to be the father.

Who will get custody of Phoebe on General Hospital?

Nobody knows yet, because no custody case has been filed. Brook Lynn and Chase adopted Phoebe together in August 2026. Chase is staying at the Quartermaine mansion on his lawyer’s advice to protect his rights, while Brook Lynn vows to do whatever it takes to keep her.
