LULU SPENCER’S STORY HITS PORT CHARLES, AND EVERY ALLIANCE IN TOWN GETS TESTED

TL;DR: Thursday, Lulu Spencer’s article makes waves. Carly backs Sonny, Ava pitches Drew a new target, Curtis gets blindsided and Chase throws down the gauntlet.

The Day the Fallout Goes Public

These General Hospital spoilers for October 8 put a whole town on the spot. On Thursday, Lulu Spencer publishes the article she has been chasing, and it makes waves all over Port Charles. The same hour, Carly Spencer plants herself next to Sonny Corinthos, Ava pitches Drew a brand new target, Curtis gets blindsided and Chase throws down the gauntlet.

Everyone scrambles, and most of them pick the wrong side. Only two partnerships come through the day standing, and they sit on opposite ends of the same lie.

The story was born in a hospital bed. On Tuesday, October 6, Lulu slipped into Jenz Sidwell‘s room in scrubs with Felicia’s badge on her chest. Doped to the eyeballs, Sidwell griped that people far more guilty than him walk free, and he named Congresswoman Willow Tait. Then he named Sonny and Britt. Lulu hit record, just as we warned she would when she secretly taped Sidwell.

Should Lulu have printed what a drugged man told her? Write to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com and tell us.

Carly Stands by Sonny When Port Charles Walks Away

Look at Sonny’s week. On Monday, Justine dumped him with two words: “It’s over!” Gio decided to move out of his house. On Tuesday, Josslyn Jacks told Hudson she will use her company to “bankrupt and destroy Sonny Corinthos,” which tells you how far Joss has gone rogue.

So Thursday’s spoiler line lands like a hug: “It feels like old times when Carly is there to support Sonny.” She’s with Valentin, so this is loyalty, not romance. It also puts Carly against her own daughter, and that’s a mother and daughter war the writers have been building since Joss joined the WSB.

What Happens on General Hospital on Thursday, October 8?

Five things. Lulu Spencer’s article makes waves, Carly supports Sonny, Ava pitches Drew a new target, Curtis gets a shock and Chase throws down the gauntlet.

Here’s what nobody else is saying. The tape behind the exposé doesn’t just sink Willow. Sidwell also called Sonny guilty, on the record, and Sidwell is the very man Sonny supposedly ordered beaten at Pentonville. One hospital bed holds both scandals.

Drew Cain, Carly Spencer and Ava Jerome on General Hospital

Ava and Drew Go Hunting for a New Target

While Lulu Spencer’s story has the town panicking, the real villains reload. Viewers know Ava Jerome and Drew Cain framed Sonny for the Pentonville attack. Thursday, Ava wants Drew to team up against someone new, and the spoilers keep the name under wraps.

Our money is on Carly. Back on September 23, Ava steered Willow straight toward her, and now Carly is the one person defending the man they framed. That smirk of Ava’s wasn’t for nothing. Don’t be surprised if Willow, exposed and cornered, makes the list too.

Willow Cain and Curtis Ashford on General Hospital

Curtis Gets Blindsided as His Deals Wobble

Curtis Ashford is betting his freedom on two women. On October 1, he cut a pardon deal with Willow: a governor’s pardon in exchange for helping her bring down Sonny. Willow’s credibility is about to go up in smoke.

Then there’s Monet Mitchell, the lawyer who turned up at his bedside on September 29 offering an appeal. She never mentioned that she’s Jordan’s sister. My gut tells me that’s the shock, and if it is, Curtis won’t know which of his helpers to trust.

Harrison Chase and Willow Cain on General Hospital

Chase Throws Down the Gauntlet

On Tuesday, Harrison Chase sat in Willow’s gatehouse over a glass of wine while she told him to “be prepared for a battle” and keep Phoebe first. He’s already filing for a legal separation from Brook Lynn. When the exposé lands, Chase comes out swinging. Willow, Brook Lynn, Tracy or Lulu Spencer herself: whoever he aims at decides whose alliance cracks next. Track it on our two weeks of General Hospital spoilers.

Carly and Sonny Hold the Line While Ava and Drew Reload

Thursday is a stress test, and most of Port Charles fails it. Curtis is rattled, Chase is spoiling for a fight and Willow is about to read about herself on every phone in town.

Only two pairs walk out of the rubble together. Carly and Sonny, the oldest alliance in town, and Ava and Drew, the newest and nastiest. We’re betting Carly finds out exactly who framed Sonny before Ava finds a way to take her out. Tell us who you’re backing on our Facebook page.
