Bold and the Beautiful spoilers October 8: Electra Forrester overhears Dylan’s private talk about Zende, and now her fury has a business case.

TL;DR: Thursday, Electra overhears a private conversation of Dylan’s and comes out furious, and every preview points at Zende’s visit to Logan. Every fight before this was about Will. This one hands Electra a business reason, on the day Eric and Ridge go all in on her line.
Electra Hears the Secret Katie Wanted Buried
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for October 8 give Electra Forrester the one thing she has never had on her rival: proof. On Thursday she overhears a private conversation of Melissa “Miss” Dylan‘s, one Dylan thinks nobody can hear, and she comes out of it furious. The previews all point the same way: the talk is about Zende, and it looks set to expose the part Dylan played in getting him through the door at Logan.
This week’s promo shows where it goes. Electra tells Dylan, “You’re a traitor, and you should have been fired ages ago.” That line has not aired yet, and Thursday is the day it lands. The timing is brutal, because the same episode has Eric Forrester and Ridge Forrester preparing to fully back the new Electra line, the line Zende is thinking of leaving.
Dylan walked right into it. On Wednesday Katie told Dylan that Zende had come to Logan and wanted nobody at Forrester to know. One day later, somebody at Forrester knows. The whole week is mapped out in our two-week Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.

Every Fight Before This One Was About Will
Electra has been gunning for Dylan since summer, and she kept missing. On July 30 Dylan confessed her night with Will, and Electra slapped her: “What did the two of you do?!” On August 19 she said, “It would be so easy to get you fired, but I won’t,” then added, “I am Electra Forrester. If I want it, you’re gone.”
On September 1 she ended the friendship: “We will never be friends.” Dylan fired back on Monday with “I didn’t walk out and I never will.” Every round was about Will Spencer. That is why Electra kept her hands off Dylan’s job, and why Electra wanting Dylan gone never got past threats. A jilted ex who runs to Ridge looks petty.
What Does Electra Overhear on Bold and the Beautiful?
Nobody has printed the exact words yet, so here is the trail she walks into. On September 28 Katie Logan Spencer told Dylan, “I want Zende Forrester here at Logan.” On October 1 Dylan admitted to Zende that Katie put her up to it, and on October 2 he went to Logan on his own after her push. Who Dylan is talking to on Thursday is still a mystery. Fan chatter splits between Zende in person and Will on the phone.
Here is the piece nobody else is putting together. On September 30 Ridge said RJ and Electra lack experience, which is why they need Zende. Thursday, Ridge and Eric commit fully to the line, and if the previews are right, in the same hour Electra Forrester learns the woman she spared helped Logan court its most seasoned designer. She is not the jilted ex anymore. She is the Forrester with proof of a leak, and “but I won’t” just lost its reason.
Zende Goes on the Hot Seat Friday
On Wednesday Zende Forrester Dominguez came back to the design office, and RJ Forrester and Electra told him the line needs him. Zende reminded them he answers to RJ. On Friday Zende is put on the spot, while Katie and Hope Logan Spencer feel good about Logan’s next power move.
Reading between the lines, Thursday’s eavesdrop is what puts him there. Once Electra knows Dylan steered him to Logan, the next question is what Zende told Katie, and Friday is when somebody asks.
Del Is Back, and Dylan Has Will in Her Corner
Del, the Forrester custodian played by Michael Maloney, is back on Thursday and Friday. Nobody has said what he does. The actor’s last walk-on was in August as a Forrester maintenance man who could not get into Eric’s office because Carter and Steffy were behind the locked door. If that is Del, the man with the mop keeps landing outside Forrester’s worst secrets.
Dylan’s one shield is Will. On Wednesday he told his mother to keep her word, the day after Will drew his hard line with Katie. No preview says Dylan loses her job. But if Electra Forrester gets Ridge’s ear, don’t be surprised if Will asks Katie to hire the girl who just got burned doing her bidding.

Electra Spared Dylan Once and Won’t Do It Twice
We are calling it for Electra this round. Dylan meant well, but she worked for Forrester while recruiting for Logan, and Katie left her holding the bag. That is a firing offense in any office, and for once Electra’s grudge and Forrester’s interest line up.
