B&B SNITCH ALERT! Electra Forrester Tattled On Melissa Dylan, And It’s The Best Thing That Ever Happened To The Girl

ELECTRA FORRESTER HANDED DYLAN THE LEVERAGE TO SPY ON KATIE

TL;DR: B&B’s Electra Forrester finally has the dirt she has been hunting on Melissa Dylan, but sprinting to Eric and Ridge with it may have introduced Dylan to the two men most desperate for a spy inside Katie Logan’s camp.

Electra’s Big Tattle Has A Plot Hole

Electra Forrester has wanted Melissa Dylan out of Forrester ever since she learned Dylan was sleeping with Will Spencer, and the universe finally handed her a reason. Lurking in a doorway, she heard Zende Forrester Dominguezthank Dylan for pushing him toward Logan, then listened to him admit that Katie Logan and Hope Logan had pitched him a job. Electra did not hesitate. She stormed straight to Eric Forrester and Ridge Forrester, squawking “backstabbing traitor” before either man could ask what she was talking about.

Electra Forrester is adorably confident, and she is banking on one shaky assumption: that Eric and Ridge will hear “traitor” and reach for the pink slip. Consider what they actually heard. Dylan has a boyfriend who works at Logan, a guided tour of the showroom under her belt, and a Katie who hurls towels and orders at her, sometimes in the same breath.

Eric and Ridge are the perfect audience for that information, and not because they will be shocked. Ridge told Dylan to her face that nobody involved with Spencer earns his trust, Eric is still kicking himself over the whole Logan mess, and Eric is already musing about leaking their own line to stay ahead. Two men that rattled do not hear a traitor. They hear a woman holding a key to the enemy’s front door.

Electra also handed them a headline they did not have an hour earlier. Eric had barely finished saying how grateful he was to have Zende when he learned Katie is circling his designer with a job offer. Who do they call to find out how close Zende is to walking? Not Electra, who cannot stand the one woman positioned to know.

Dylan Only Has To Be Useful

Dylan will not need much of a pitch. She has spent weeks as Katie’s errand girl, ordered to “finish the job” on Zende and treated like unpaid staff, and Katie has already declared her not Spencer quality, so why keep begging for a blessing? Eric and Ridge, meanwhile, run the company where she actually works. Offering them every plan she overhears at Logan in exchange for keeping her job is not betrayal. It is a career move.

Dylan could not have scripted better timing. Zende still has not given Logan an answer, and she is the one he confides in. A spy who can read his mood in real time is worth far more to two panicked Forresters than another firing ever could be. Electra Forrester delivered the whole case to the exact men Dylan needed to meet, and she did it with a bow on top.

Katie Gets A Taste Of Her Own Medicine

Katie sneered that Dylan could be a spy the second Will offered her a tour of Logan. Katie would deserve every drop if she turned out to be right for all the wrong reasons. The girl Katie bullied into poaching Zende ends up feeding Eric and Ridge every move Logan makes, and the only person who never sees it coming is Will, who swears Dylan has nothing to prove and urged his mother to embrace her in the first place.

Is Dylan a traitor, a survivor or the smartest woman in the building? Tell us in the comments below, we’re dying to hear it!

Pride Goes Before The Plot Twist

Electra Forrester wants Dylan gone and believes the hard part is over. If Eric and Ridge are as desperate as they look, the hard part has barely started. Does Dylan flip, or does Electra get her victory lap after all?
