Two Doctors, Zero Patience For A Fuzzy Timeline

Steffy Forrester built her lie to survive one kind of audience, and it is not the kind about to show up. Daphne Rosebought the whole thing on sight, because a woman who wants a baby this badly will accept any explanation that ends with a nursery. But the spoilers tease that Finn and Li Finnegan start snooping around Steffy’s pregnancy, and those two do not take a story at face value. They read it like a chart.

The confession was shaky before it ever left the cliff house. Steffy lit every candle in the place, panted at her own reflection, then told her husband she had done something she shouldn’t have, which is a strange way to announce a favor for a friend. The spoilers tease that he is shocked she went against his wishes, and he should be: he already told her she couldn’t be the surrogate, so a wife who went ahead anyway owes him a very good explanation. Her own body is working against her. Taylor Hayes took one look at her exhausted daughter and asked if she was all right, and Steffy answered by putting away her celery and changing the subject, which is the most suspicious thing anyone has ever done with a vegetable. She sips tea, clutches her stomach and gasps at her own phone. If a mother who reads people for a living can sense something is off, imagine two doctors whose whole job is noticing which patient is pretending to be fine, one of whom is Finn, who sees her every single morning.

The Timeline Will Not Add Up

A transfer has a calendar, and so does a pregnancy, and the two have to match. Which clinic? Which date? Which doctor signed off? Nobody has heard a single answer, and when Daphne asked about the transfer, Carter Waltonglanced at the office couch, which is not where clinics keep their records. Finn and Li can ask all of those questions in thirty seconds. A real surrogacy has answers, while a fake one has Carter saying it will work out for everyone on repeat.

Carter’s Pep Talks Will Not Cover This

Carter’s fix for every problem is to promise that it all works out, and he has said it so often it sounds like a ringtone. Daphne already worries they are interfering in Finn and Steffy’s marriage, and she is the one person in this scheme who has no idea how deep the interference goes. The moment the truth lands, “we ran out of time” has to hold up against a man who spends his days on precision molecular diagnoses, and that excuse is not built for that kind of scrutiny.
