DONNA LOGAN NEEDS A MIRACLE FOR BROOKE AND KATIE, AND STEFFY MAY GET ONE SHE NEVER WANTED

TL;DR: Donna Logan comes home Thursday wanting Brooke and Katie to make peace, and the tease says it would take a miracle. The same day, Steffy and Carter rush to the hospital, and the question everyone is asking is whether something is wrong with the baby.

Donna Comes Home on a Peace Mission

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, October 22 bring back Donna Logan, and she has one wish. The network preview says Donna is hopeful that her sisters will end their feud. The tease is blunter: it would take a miracle, and Donna wants to know if she can pull one off.

She is not a neutral party. When Katie came to the Forrester mansion to make amends in July, Donna stood with Brooke and told her, “You undermined our entire family, Katie!” Donna’s return to the Logan sister war was always going to reopen that wound.

And it lands on a loaded day. This week’s Bold and the Beautiful spoilers put Steffy Forrester Finnegan and Carter Walton in a rush to the hospital in the very same episode.

Can Donna really fix this family? Tell me what you think at amber@soapoperamagazine.com.

Brooke Is Softening, Katie Is Not

Here is why the miracle is closer than it looks on one side. On Wednesday, October 21, Brooke Logan begged Bill Spencer to stop his wife, and he promised, “I’ll talk to Katie.” Alone afterward, Brooke cracked: “I just miss you. I miss my little sister so much.”

Now the bad news. Katie Logan Spencer heard Bill suggest they be gracious toward Forrester and shot back, “Is my husband in there? What is this all about?” Bill’s change of heart was a long time coming, after his push to ease up on Forrester, and Katie smells a setup.

Katie has also already quoted Donna against Brooke. On October 16 she refused Brooke’s hug: “What was it that Donna said? You can’t just hug it out. She was right about that.” Then she sent Brooke out and cried alone.

Donna Logan Has Played Peacemaker Before

This is not Donna’s first try at holding the Logans together. In January, when Katie hired Eric for her company, Donna called herself neutral “like the country of Switzerland” and warned everyone they were playing with fire. In February, during the blowup over Eric’s contract, Donna begged everyone to stop fighting.

Her record cuts both ways, and Katie knows it. Donna Logan wants family over business, but every time it mattered, she ended up next to Brooke. My gut tells me the smart move is knocking on Katie’s door first, not Brooke’s.

Is Something Wrong With Steffy’s Baby on Bold and the Beautiful?

Nobody has said yet. The preview only says Steffy and Carter rush to the hospital, with no patient and no reason named. What we do know is how they got here. On Tuesday, Steffy told Carter that John “Finn” Finnegan knows about the implantation, and Carter answered, “No one can know the truth.”

Then Wednesday blew it open. Finn summoned Steffy, Carter and Daphne Rose Walton to his office at the hospital, with his mother watching, and exploded: “You could be pregnant by another man! Carter!” He meant the surrogacy. He still has no idea how right he is.

A Sonogram Could Tell Li Everything

Spoiler photos for Thursday and Friday show Li Finnegan giving Steffy a sonogram. Judging by the pictures, Daphne and Carter are thrilled the pregnancy is confirmed, and Steffy has to pass off her tears as happy ones. On Friday, Finn and Li investigate Steffy’s pregnancy.

That screen is the danger, as our look at Steffy and Carter’s hospital rush laid out. On paper, Steffy Forrester Finnegan is about five and a half weeks along. Counting from her August night with Carter, she is closer to eleven and a half. If I know these writers, the baby is fine, and that is exactly Steffy’s problem. A healthy baby measuring six weeks too old is its own kind of emergency.

Will Li spot the dates before Finn does? Make your prediction in the comments.

Donna’s return, the hospital rush and Friday’s investigation are all in the full two-week Bold and the Beautiful preview.

Donna Logan Can Win Brooke, but Katie Is the Miracle

Our call: Donna Logan gets half her miracle. Brooke already misses her little sister. Katie is the one who quoted Donna’s own words to slam the door, and she now thinks even her husband switched sides.

So who caves first, Brooke or Katie, and does Steffy’s baby news blow up before the Logans ever make up? Pick a side on our Facebook page.
