Jones is best known to daytime audiences as Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, a role she originated in 2004 and has returned to multiple times over the years, earning a Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Guest Performance category in 2024. Before that, she made her daytime debut as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless from 1997 to 2000, picking up two Daytime Emmy nominations for her work. She also played Parker Forsyth on General Hospital from 2016 to 2017. Her primetime credits include True Blood, 90210, and Major Crimes.

This is a significant addition for Beyond the Gates, which was just renewed for seasons 3 and 4 through the 2027-28 season. The show continues to build its cast with proven daytime talent, and Jones brings two decades of experience and a fanbase that spans multiple soaps.

The casting also reunites Jones with Karla Mosley, who plays Dani Dupree on Beyond the Gates. Kerry, who plays Randy on Beyond the Gates, posted a video to X of the cast and crew celebrating the show’s two season renewal. Jones can be seen in the video, and she later posted Instagram Stories from a late night at work followed by a pizza dinner, noting she was “all by myself somewhere in Atlanta.” Beyond the Gates tapes at Assembly Studios in Atlanta.

No details about Jones’s character have been released, which means the speculation is wide open. Fairmont Crest just got a three time Daytime Emmy nominee with ties to the Forrester, Newman, and Port Charles universes, and the possibilities are endless.
