GRAYSON PEREZ FINISHES THE JOB AND FAIRMONT CREST PAYS THE PRICE

TL;DR: Grayson Perez will complete his assignment for the plasma ring on Beyond the Gates spoilers for the week of May 18, and then the warehouse will turn into a war zone. Samantha Richardson makes her cotillion debut, someone gets killed on the same night a Platinum Deb is crowned, Tyrell Richardson and Jessica finally take the leap, and a McBride finally comes home.

This Week in Fairmont Crest

Grayson Perez has been a man on borrowed time ever since Lia Whitmore reminded him there is no way out of the plasma ring, and this week Grayson Perez will complete the assignment that was supposed to buy him his freedom. Instead, the warehouse will erupt into pure chaos, Ashley Morgan will spend Monday in absolute pieces, and by Wednesday someone will be dead on the same night Samantha Richardson makes her cotillion debut. Anita Dupree is preparing for the biggest night of the social season, Tyrell Richardson and Jessica will sneak off to do what teenagers do when their parents are distracted, and one of the McBrides will walk through a door nobody was expecting. Fairmont Crest has never been louder.

Monday, May 18

The Duprees will turn their entire household upside down preparing for Samantha Richardson’s cotillion, which is the kind of social event that requires a full week of nervous breakdowns before anyone actually puts on a gown. Jacob Hawthorne will sit down with Ren Tolliver for a meeting that is going to test every single one of Jacob’s undercover instincts, because Ren does not invite people to chat. Ashley Morgan will spiral into panic mode while Grayson Perez quietly braces for the worst, which is never a comforting combination from a couple who already broke up once this month. Bill Hamilton will corner Hayley Lawson and start asking pointed questions about her past, and Hayley is going to have a very difficult time keeping her story straight given how much she has been hiding. Lia Whitmore will put Derek Baldwin in the hot seat, which is a fun reversal given Derek is usually the one asking the questions.

Tuesday, May 19

Grayson Perez will complete his assignment for the plasma ring and walk away thinking he has earned his freedom, and that is when all hell will break loose at the warehouse in a way that nobody who works for Lia or Joey Armstrong is prepared for. Samantha Richardson and Jessica will make their cotillion debut as Platinum Debs, which is supposed to be the most glamorous night of their young lives and will almost certainly turn into something else entirely. Nicole Dupree Richardson will be pulled into an emergency that nobody saw coming, and given how stretched thin the entire Dupree family already is, the timing could not be more cruel.

Wednesday, May 20

Someone will die on the same night a Platinum Deb is crowned, which is the most Fairmont Crest sentence we have written all year. Vanessa McBride will start asking Joey Armstrong pointed questions about the chaos of the evening, and given Vanessa has spent the last several weeks digging through Joey’s past whether he wants her to or not, she is going to put pieces together faster than he can deflect. Tyrell Richardson and Jessica will slip away from the cotillion for their first time together, which is sweet and reckless and exactly the kind of detail that is going to come up later when their parents start asking where they were when the body was found.

Thursday, May 21

Ashley Morgan and Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne will be left shell-shocked by whatever went down at the cotillion, which suggests they are either grieving someone they love or trying to figure out who is still standing. Elon Hawthornewill make demands of Joey Armstrong, and watching Elon try to lean on the man pulling strings all over town is going to be one for the books. Donnell McBride will sit down with Vanessa and start asking hard questions of his own, because Donnell is not blind to the way his mother has been spiraling around Joey. Marcel Malone will haul in a perp for questioning, and Bill Hamilton, Kat Richardson, and Tomas Navarro will compare notes on Lynette in a way that suggests the walls are about to close in.

Friday, May 22

Anita Dupree, Vernon Dupree, and Ted Richardson will be in full damage control mode in the aftermath of whatever happened at the cotillion, which is a horrifying way to spend the morning after your granddaughter’s debut. Andre Richardson and Dani Dupree will console someone they love, which has all the makings of a very bad funeral scene in the making. Nicole Dupree Richardson will be asked to reach out to a distraught colleague, and given Nicole’s day job involves people in crisis, the request will hit harder than it looks on paper. Donnell McBride will confront Joey Armstrong head on while Kat Richardson hands Deanna McBride some unvarnished advice, and Deanna is finally back in Fairmont Crest, which is the stunning McBride reunion the previews have been teasing.
