This Week in Fairmont Crest
These BTG Weekly Spoilers open on a family that has spent weeks guarding its own, and the guarding gets harder by the day. Confessions that have been simmering finally come out, and tempers that have been held in check stop cooperating. A few people discover that a hard line drawn in anger is easier to draw than to hold. By Friday, patience is the scarcest resource in Fairmont Crest.
Around the edges, a frame job keeps everyone looking over their shoulders, and unlikely allies find common ground. A couple of old schemers keep testing how much room Fairmont Crest will give them. Nobody gets to coast through this one. The week leaves a few relationships under serious strain.

Monday, October 12th
Monday opens with a confession that has been a long time coming. Nicole Dupree Richardson at last tells Dani Dupree, her sibling, what she has been carrying. Nicole spent days stewing over being kept in the dark by her own family, so she knows exactly how heavy a secret feels. In a house that has hidden plenty from each other lately, the truth lands very differently coming from someone you trust.
Anita Dupree and Vernon Dupree circle the wagons around their own. Vernon has spent days quietly working to contain the Hayley problem, and Anita has been right beside him making sure daily life still looks normal. The couple at the head of Fairmont Crest’s first family have never needed an invitation to guard the family name, and Monday gives them every reason to do it with their chins up.
Smitty and Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne spend the day bracing for bad news. A video that looks damning and a pouch of residue matching pills that proved fatal hang over Smitty, and he has insisted to anyone who will listen that the video is bogus. Naomi knows better than most how a case like this can turn, so a lawyer and her client plan for the ugliest outcome instead of hoping it fades.
Bill Hamilton enjoys what he considers a hard-won victory, and he wears it well until Hayley Lawson shows up to take another swipe. Hayley poisoned him for months, pulled a gun on his ex-wife, and still walked away with a payout. She knows exactly where he is soft, and she is in no hurry to stop pressing on the bruise.
Izaiah Hawthorne extends an invitation to Elon Hawthorne, another step in the father and son time the two have been building. Elon lit up at the chance to spend a football day with his son, and Izaiah’s brother has already noticed how close they are getting. It is a small gesture, but between these two, small gestures carry weight.
Jacob Hawthorne is on a different mission entirely. He wants any fresh information he can dig up on the Impaler, and he is not interested in waiting for it to come to him. With a carjacking and a frame job piling up on his desk, he is running out of patience for dead ends.
Tuesday, October 13th
Martin Richardson spends Tuesday waiting on news he clearly considers a big deal. A candidate who has stayed publicly loyal to his husband has to sit still and hope. The hours crawl, and no amount of pacing makes them pass faster.
Smitty is stuck in the waiting room of his own life, and his version comes with a heavy dose of shame. He swears the video is a fake, but that doesn’t change how it looks. He has watched his husband defend him to skeptical advisers, and being the cause of that strain stings.
Nicole reverses course toward Ted Richardson, the man she divorced. This is the husband who cheated and fathered Eva, and the two have spent years picking through the wreckage. With that much history between them, any shift in how they treat each other is worth noticing.
Naomi tells her husband no, and the answer leaves Jacob very little room to argue. It is rare for a couple who share the same case to disagree so sharply, since she has been fighting Smitty’s corner and he is the detective on the file. The line is drawn, and it stays drawn.
Samantha Richardson squares off with her brother Tyrell Richardson, adding one more family flare-up to a day that already has plenty. Tyrell is freshly back from Banneker, so the timing is rough. With their dads busy with their own worries, the siblings are left to sort it out themselves.
Ashley Morgan pitches in when Shanice Johnson gets buried at work. Ashley recently picked up a promotion and has plenty to say about the headaches that come with it, so she knows the feeling. A colleague who steps in before anyone has to ask is worth her weight in gold, and Shanice looks like she needed the help.
Carlton Fitzgerald’s fling with Heather Armstrong veers somewhere unexpected. Heather has never been subtle about collecting attention in Fairmont Crest, and she shows no sign of slowing down. Anyone who gets close to a woman known as the Impaler should expect the ride to get bumpy sooner or later.

Wednesday, October 14th
Vernon moves through the day on high alert, eyes open and guard up, as though trouble could arrive from any direction. Bill gets shut out of whatever the others are planning, which stings because Vernon already told him to keep his distance for the sake of plausible deniability. It is an unfamiliar spot for a man who prefers to be the one who knows everything.
Dani gives Chelsea Hamilton, the daughter she shares with Bill, a firm no. Chelsea has spent weeks demanding answers about why her father dropped the charges, and she has lectured Dani about letting Bill walk all over her. A mother who has heard enough gets very clear, very fast.
Nicole works to calm Samantha as slander spreads around her. It is the psychiatrist in her who knows what someone needs when ugly talk starts to stick, and the grandmother in her who refuses to let anyone face it alone. Anita has already cautioned the family that gossips love a feast, and now one of their own is paying for it.
Naomi sweats as Jacob becomes a target. Her husband is the detective chasing the Impaler and handling Bill’s case, so having the heat turned on him is new territory. A wife who spends her days defending other people gets a front row seat as someone she loves is attacked, and she doesn’t love the view.
Thursday, October 15th
Anita and Nicole struggle to keep their spirits up. After the weeks the family has had, hope takes real effort. Anita has leaned on her music for calm, and Nicole, who is used to spotting trouble first, leans on her mother in return.
Martin’s big declaration gets derailed before he can finish it. He has stood by Smitty for weeks, even after an adviser called him naive for it. Whatever he planned to say deserved a clear runway, and he does not get one.
Bill presses Dani to give him more, and he is not subtle about it. Since leaving the hospital he has leaned on her more than anyone, and Anita has pointedly told him to back off from her daughter. Dani is still married to Andre, which makes asking for more a risky move.
Bill also discovers he and Ted share an outlook. The two already laughed together in a hospital room about how badly they pick women. It is not a pairing anyone would have predicted, but two men who have both been burned by the women in their lives have plenty to talk about.
Naomi settles on a path to proof, and she gets moving with the focus of someone out of patience for waiting. She argued from the start that the pouch proves nothing and could be mass-produced, so she is building on that instinct. She has been chewing on this problem since the pouch turned up, and she is not ready to let go.
An admission by Joey Armstrong leaves Vanessa McBride stunned. She has asked him more than once who was behind her carjacking and he has refused to name anyone, so any confession from him carries real weight. She has made her peace with a lot about the man she loves, and it is one more thing than she expected to hear.
Hayley finally finds herself outmatched. She escaped an arrest by being slippery, squeezed Bill for a payout and sold Randy out to save herself, so running into someone she can’t spin is new territory. It lands hard on a woman who always believed she was three moves ahead.

Friday, October 16th
Andre Richardson blows up with Dani watching. He admitted to Ted that his supply of understanding is running low, and he has since confronted Dani over her trips to Bill. After weeks of patience, the dam finally breaks in a spot where his wife gets a front row seat.
Naomi blindsides Bill. Her father is the family fixer who has been quietly managing Hayley’s blackmail out of everyone’s sight. Naomi has been angry since he dropped the charges, so she has had plenty of time to prepare, and Bill, certain he has every angle covered, gets caught flat-footed.
Leslie Thomas receives rough news. She has spent days playing bestie to Hayley and trading barbs with Anita at the club, and she has not slowed down for a minute. The woman who usually has a quip ready for every situation finds there are a few things she can’t joke her way past.
Eva Thomas erupts, and Kat Richardson fires right back. The half-sisters share a father in Ted and have spent weeks bristling over Izaiah, with Kat insisting nothing is going on. Eva swore she wouldn’t return to that jealous place, and Friday is the day the polite distance between them evaporates.
Hayley attempts to patch things up with Randy Parker. He told her to drop his number not long ago, after she pointed Vernon straight at him to save her own skin. The odds of a warm welcome are slim, but she has never let long odds stop her.
Heather sidles closer to Joey, narrowing the distance with a brother who warned her off. Joey told her to stay in London for ten years, and he has promised to deal with her in his own time. Considering how much she enjoys ignoring his warnings, nobody should be shocked.
