THE FULL 2026 DAYTIME EMMY AWARD NOMINEE LIST IS HERE

TL;DR: It’s official, the 2026 Daytime Emmy Award nominees have arrived, and Beyond the Gates is already making a name for itself in year one.

Award Season Officially Kicks Off

It’s a big week for daytime, and the race for one of television’s most coveted trophies is officially underway. The nominees for the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards are here, and the list is stacked with familiar faces battling it out for the industry’s top honor.

The ceremony lands on Friday, October 30 in Hollywood, California, but before anyone takes home a golden statuette, they have to survive nomination season first.

This year brought a few notable shakeups to the process. Anyone who submitted in the craft categories, think editing, directing, sound, and makeup, was allowed to send in full-episode submissions instead of the usual clip reels. Guest Performers also faced a tighter rule this time around: to qualify, they could appear in no more than 19% of the 2025 episodes that aired or streamed.

And in one of the most exciting twists of the season, CBS newcomer Beyond the Gates joined the mix for the very first time, landing a serious wave of nominations after a year of jaw-dropping drama in Fairmont Crest.
