Back to the Scene of the Best Crime at Uptown

Finally, Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) put himself out of his misery after Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) turned down his marriage proposal at Uptown on Beyond the Gates. He called her on her crap & broke it off & BTG fans could not be more happy. Ashley is still a dud, but there’s more to Derek than what soap opera fans thought. Derek entirely doubled down on ending things with Ashley & had a date with Ashley’s Nurse manager at Garland Memorial Hospital, Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson). While they were having fun, Ashley walked in with Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) whom she asked out.

Derek could not care less, but Ashley could not have been more hot & bothered. Just one date in, Derek is already more interesting with Shanice than his ex, Ashley on Beyond the Gates.

Personal PT With Nurse Manager Shanice on BTG

Firefighter Derek walking into Garland Memorial to get personal PT from Nurse Manager Shanice at the nurse’s station in front of Nurse Perfect was the bomb.com. Shanice is a blast & Beyond the Gates fans cannot get enough of her. Derek could not have cared less that Ashley was there & didn’t even notice her. However, Ashley sure did notice Derek & was an immature little brat to her boss, Nurse Supervisor Shanice. Shanice giving PT near the nurses’ station was a hoot. Something tells Beyond the Gates fans that Firefighter Derek will be needing ongoing PT.

Ashley is Alone Now & No One Cares

Well, almost no one cares. Andre Richardson may sort of still care, but he has Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) on demand. She demanded him again & he came. There is no way that Dani Dupree will tolerate Andre’s charity dates with Ashley Morgan. She’s vanilla as the day is long. Otherwise, Derek has for sure moved on & is not looking back.

Right now, there’s no one in or out of the gates who will suit Nurse Perfect Ashley. Will Ashley be able to handle being alone? She’s been in a relationship for 2 years & has had all of the control. How will Ashley deal with Shanice & Derek dating? She’s already started running her mouth towards her boss in ways she shouldn’t be?
