TL;DR: Happy 2026, Beyond the Gates fans! Season 2 is here and Leslie Thomas isn’t going anywhere. Love her, hate her, or love to hate her, fans need to pick one. But can Marcel Malone finally bring her some consequences?

Leslie Thomas Is Everywhere

Happy 2026, Beyond the Gates fans!!… Season 2 is upon us, and Leslie/Dana Thomas isn’t going anywhere. Love her, hate her, or love to hate her, each BTG fan has to pick one. Regardless of your choice, Leslie needs to suffer some consequences sometime soon.

Also, she’s finally dialed down her wigs to one, so can she pick one name to stick with as well?

There is no argument across soap opera social media that Trisha Mann-Grant, portraying Leslie/Dana on Beyond the Gates, is absolutely freaking nailing it. However, can we somehow get the woman one less first name, and maybe some type of consequences coming up in Season 2?

Leslie has pulled back on the wigs; can she also pull back on the Dana? Unfortunately, her “Teddy Bear” Ted Richardson (Keith Robinson) continues to call Leslie, Dana, and it’s driving Beyond the Gates fans nuts. Let’s let her be Leslie and move forward in Fairmont Crest.

Yes, Leslie is almost in Fairmont Crest. She’s bought the place across from Anita and Vernon Dupree (Tamara Tunie and Clifton Davis) and is bulldozing it and replacing it with something everyone is certain will be absolutely repulsive inside the community.

BTG Fans and the DMV Need Marcel Malone to Dial Down Leslie

Despite the Dupree family being who and what they are, they have not been able to dial down Leslie. She has managed to weave herself into almost every single storyline on Beyond the Gates, and not every Beyond the Gates fan is on board.

Alas, the Metro Police Department’s most controversial detective, Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy). Not only are Marcel and Leslie already vibing, but the Dupree family has also retained him to keep an eye on her for their protection.

Could it be that Marcel Malone is the Leslie 2 for 1 to dial her down? Not that anyone in & out of Fairmont Crest cares right now onscreen or soap opera fan-wise, but will Ted Richardson finally be free of who he still calls Dana? Better yet, will Marcel finally be able to nail Leslie for attempting to kill Dr. Nicole Dupree’s (Daphnee Duplaix) sweet assistant, Laura Peterson (Destiny Love), twice?

Finally, if Marcel can dial down Leslie, can he also dial down her daughter Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle), otherwise known as Leslie Jr., to Beyond the Gates fans? Eva knows damn well what her momma tried to do to Laura and hasn’t done a damn thing to help make things right.

So, will season 2 of Beyond the Gates bring any consequences for Leslie and her daughter Eva? About how much money does she have to spend on God knows what? Would you like to see Leslie and/or Eva in jail for what happened with Laura, or are they both needed on the street on Beyond the Gates for entertainment value?
