TL;DR: What??!! Wait a minute!! Leslie has feelings, and they aren’t for Dr. Ted Richardson. This makes zero sense. Peaches appears out of nowhere and now Leslie doesn’t want to lose the woman who raised her on Beyond the Gates.

It wasn’t until recently that Beyond the Gates fans had heard of Peaches (Arle Michel). Out of nowhere, she’s the woman who raised Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant). Beyond the Gates fans didn’t realize Leslie/Dana was raised by a human; it seemed like she was brought up by the devil.
Now Peaches is with us and has connected Leslie to her biological mother’s fortune, sponsored by Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie). Also, Peaches is sick and supposedly does not have much time to live. Leslie did offer part of her newfound fortune to pay for Peaches’ medical care and put her into an apartment near her daughter Eva Thomas’s (Ambyr Michelle). Yes, that’s sweet, but now Peaches has taken a turn for the worse, and Leslie is all up in Garland Memorial Hospital being a crazy bitch.

BTG’s Peaches is Sick, Leslie’s Teddy Bear to the Rescue
Peaches is in the hospital. Hopefully, to get better, but for Leslie, it’s another reason or ten for her to be in proximity to Dr. Ted Richardson (Keith Robinson), the love of her life/obsession gone bad. Sure, she’s pleasantly crying to her teddy bear to do everything he can to save Peaches, but he’s a plastic surgeon. What in the what, Leslie? She’s been whining for the late Dr. Doug McBride (Jason Graham). Does this woman not understand what being dead means?
Now she’s running around Garland Memorial Hospital, pissing off anyone and everyone, including Nurse Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson). All Beyond the Gates fans know that Nurse Shanice does not put up with any crap from anyone, Leslie/Dana Thomas included.
Shanice can keep her professional composure, but Leslie is a full-time loose cannon. Will Leslie’s “Teddy Bear” be to her rescue no matter what on Beyond the Gates?
