The sheer commitment to the bit is genuinely staggering. A woman faked her own death, hid it from her husband and son for this long, and is now planning her second disappearance like it’s a normal Tuesday.

A Disguise That Almost Cracked

Speaking of people who aren’t who they claim to be, Kristen DiMera put on an “Aunt Susan” disguise this week to visit Rachel Black and deliver a message from her real mother in hiding. It nearly went sideways fast.

Between blaming her tears on a narwhal allergy and fumbling answers to a five-year-old’s very direct questions, “Susan” kept slipping out of character right in front of Rachel, saved only by Brady Black pulling her aside the second they were alone and forcing her to drop the act completely.

A grown woman nearly got busted by a kindergartner. That is the kind of chaos only this show delivers, and we are living for every second of it.

Jacinda Bracken has been spiraling for weeks, and this week she finally acted on it. After learning Willow Tait filed a restraining order against her, Jacinda showed up at Nina’s with a tray of coffees, one labeled for Nina and one labeled for Willow, and a bag of pills she’d already had Ezra deliver to her earlier that same day.

The second Willow’s coffee was left unattended, Jacinda pulled out the pills and dropped them in without a flicker of hesitation. No dramatic monologue, no last-second change of heart. Only a cold, deliberate act carried out in someone else’s kitchen.
