Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Stephanie’s Stalker Closes In as Alex Makes His Move
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Alex surprises Stephanie at her Chicago hotel while her stalker lurks nearby. Is Alex walking into a dangerous trap? The tension explodes December 10!

ALEX KIRIAKIS WALKS INTO STEPHANIE JOHNSON’S STALKER NIGHTMARE ON DAYS OF OUR LIVES
TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, December 10 reveal that Alex Kiriakis surprises Stephanie Johnson at her Chicago hotel room while a dangerous stalker lurks nearby. The timing couldn’t be worse… or could it be exactly what the stalker wanted?
A Stalker Is Following Stephanie Johnson to Chicago
Let’s get one thing straight. Stephanie Johnson is not being paranoid. She is being HUNTED.
The Days of Our Lives stalker storyline has been building for months now, and the threat is very real. Someone has been sending Stephanie one creepy letter a day. Her intern Holly Jonas discovered disturbing emails that prove this isn’t just some overzealous fan who loved her book a little too much. This is calculated. This is obsessive. And it followed her all the way to Chicago.
A man physically tailed Stephanie to her hotel room during her book tour for “One Stormy Night.” He watched her enter. He waited in the shadows. And then? He walked away. Not because he was done. Because he wasn’t ready yet.
That’s the kind of patience that should terrify everyone.

Alex Kiriakis Shows Up Unannounced
Here’s where things get messy. Alex Kiriakis, in all his well-meaning but absolutely CLUELESS glory, decided that the best thing he could do was show up at Stephanie’s hotel room as a surprise.
Read that again. A surprise. While she’s being stalked. While she’s jumping at every shadow and flinching at every knock on the door.
The man went behind her back to talk to her father Steve Johnson about the stalker situation instead of trusting Stephanie to handle her own security. He made decisions about her safety without her input. And now he’s showing up unannounced at her hotel room door like this is some romantic comedy instead of a psychological thriller.
Spoilers confirm that Alex surprises Stephanie with something she did not expect, and she must respond. In another context (you know, one where a creep wasn’t tracking her every move), this might be sweet. In THIS context? Stephanie is going to hear that door open and assume the absolute worst. Her heart is going to stop. Her survival instincts are going to kick in. And when she sees Alex standing there instead of her stalker?
She’s not going to collapse in relief. She’s going to EXPLODE in anger.

The Real Danger Is Still Out There
Here’s what’s keeping me up at night. The stalker is still watching. The stalker knows where Stephanie is staying. The stalker has been patient and methodical this entire time.
And now Alex Kiriakis just walked into the middle of it.
The spoilers even warn that the stalker might try to drug Alex again. AGAIN. Which means this isn’t the first time, and the stalker clearly sees Alex as an obstacle to eliminate rather than a deterrent. That’s terrifying on multiple levels.
What if the stalker was waiting for exactly this? What if Alex leaving Salem and traveling to Chicago played right into the plan? Stephanie’s emotional energy is about to be completely depleted dealing with Alex’s boundary-crossing “romantic gesture.” She’ll be vulnerable. Exhausted. Distracted.
The perfect target.
Can This Relationship Survive?
Friday’s episode description mentions that Stephanie and Alex will discuss their future. That tells us two things. First, whatever happens on December 10 doesn’t end in an abduction (thank goodness). Second, this relationship is about to face some SERIOUS turbulence.
Stephanie Johnson has trauma. Real, documented, historical trauma involving men who claimed they wanted to “protect” her. Ford Decker. Owen Kent. She knows what it looks like when protection becomes control. And Alex’s behavior? It’s hitting all those warning bells.
Will they survive this? Honestly, I’m not sure they should.
