Xander Kiriakis REVEALS THE TRUTH to Marlena Evans
Thursday’s Days of Our Lives features Xander in a vulnerable therapy session with Marlena Evans, and this man is HURTING! Xander has been attending anger management sessions with Marlena ever since Sarah Horton kicked him out and filed for divorce after discovering he brutally beat Philip and lied about it for months.
The divorce papers hit Xander HARD. He recently signed them, essentially accepting that his marriage to Sarah is over. During his therapy sessions, Xander has been working through his violent tendencies and learning breathing techniques to manage his rage, but the emotional work is brutal.
Xander opens up to Marlena about how devastated he feels losing Sarah and potentially losing access to their daughter Victoria. Marlena has been encouraging Xander not to give up on therapy or his daughter, believing he CAN change if he commits to the work. She’s told him that as long as he’s honest with her during sessions, she’ll continue working with him.
But here’s the PROBLEM: Xander is still lying to Sarah about the Philip assault! Philip is covering for Xander, and they’ve created this mutual protection pact where Philip won’t press charges and Xander gets to see Victoria. This lie is the foundation Xander’s entire redemption arc is built on, which makes it incredibly shaky!

SPARKS Are FLYING Between Brady Black & Sarah Horton
While Xander is pouring his heart out in therapy, Brady Black and Sarah Horton are getting CLOSE—and not in a “just friends” way! Thursday’s Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that sparks are flying between these two, and it’s about to cause MAJOR drama!
Brady and Sarah have been bonding over their respective disasters. Brady is dealing with Rachel being at Bayview after she tried to poison Sarah with pistachio oil. Sarah is processing her divorce from Xander and the custody battle over Victoria. They’ve been commiserating about their messy lives, and that emotional vulnerability is turning into romantic chemistry!
Brady has been Sarah’s rock throughout this nightmare with Xander. He took her to a rage room to help her process her anger, he’s been protective of her since his daughter almost killed her, and he’s been there offering support while Sarah’s marriage crumbled. It’s only natural that feelings would develop!
The Days of Our Lives spoilers specifically say “sparks fly” on Thursday, which suggests something PHYSICAL might happen between them. A kiss? An almost-kiss? Whatever happens, it’s sure to be charged with romantic tension!
And here’s the complication—Brady just moved into the Kiriakis mansion at Maggie’s invitation! He’s literally living under the same roof as Sarah now, which means they’re in CONSTANT proximity to each other. Xander is going to lose his mind when he finds out Brady is living with his soon-to-be ex-wife!
Johnny DiMera & Chanel Dupree Are Still SCARED But the Extra Security is DRIVING THEM BATTY
Over in DiMera territory, Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree are NOT thrilled with whatever extra security precautions are being put in place! With DiMeras disappearing into the family crypt left and right, EJ is implementing heightened security for the remaining family members who haven’t been kidnapped. Yet. Because long-range spoilers indicate EJ had better have security of his own in place.
In the meantime, Johnny and Chanel have baby Trey to worry about, and they’re already stressed about the possibility of Johnny being the next DiMera who will vanish. But whatever measures EJ is taking feel suffocating rather than protective to this new mom and dad!
It makes sense that they would feel stifled. Johnny and Chanel are young parents trying to build their life together, and having bodyguards following them everywhere or being locked down at the mansion would feel like prison rather than protection. They want to live normally, not in fear!
The Thursday spoilers suggest Johnny and Chanel push back against these precautions, which could create tension with EJ. But given that human bones were just discovered in the crypt on Tuesday, maybe EJ’s paranoia is actually JUSTIFIED this time!
Javi GRILLS Gabi Hernandez & She Defends Herself BIG TIME
Thursday also features Gabi Hernandez having to defend herself to her brother Javi! On Tuesday’s episode, Javi overheard Rafe discussing something about the investigation, and he probably heard Gabi’s name mentioned.
Javi might be questioning whether Gabi had anything to do with the DiMera kidnappings, especially since Tony DiMera disappeared right after he and Gabi had conflicts at Titan Industries. Gabi has to convince her brother she’s not involved in whatever’s happening to the DiMeras!
Rafe and Jada RUSH to FIND the Kidnapped Captives
Finally, Thursday shows Rafe Hernandez and Jada Hunter putting their heads together to solve the mystery of who’s kidnapping DiMeras and why! They’re working the case from the FBI and Salem PD angles, trying to figure out who would target this specific family.
The discovery of human bones in the crypt on Tuesday suggests this kidnapper has killed before, which raises the stakes considerably. Rafe and Jada need to find the captives BEFORE whoever is behind this decides to add more bones to their collection!
