BLAKE BERRIS’ DIVORCE FILING PUTS BUSY PHILIPPS BACK IN FOCUS

TL;DR: Blake Berris, the actor behind Nick Fallon and then Everett Lynch on DAYS, is headed for divorce after Alexandra McGuinness, his wife, filed on Thursday, first reported by TMZ. The filing lists a 2024 separation, while his romance with Busy Philipps went public in October 2025, as covered by People.

Alexandra McGuinness Files For Divorce

Blake Berris is facing the end of his marriage. Thursday was the day Alexandra McGuinness, his wife, filed for divorce, giving irreconcilable differences as her reason, and she says the two have been apart since 2024.

Her paperwork lists the separation as beginning September 11, 2024, and says the wedding took place August 26, 2017. They share three young sons, and Alexandra is asking for shared custody. She has also requested spousal support and asked that none be awarded to him.

Busy Philipps Made It Public In 2025

That separation date matters because of what the calendar shows next. In October 2025, Busy Philipps and Blake Berris stepped out publicly as a couple at the Daytime Emmys in Pasadena, and a rep for the actress confirmed the two were dating. Blake was nominated that night in the supporting actor category, his second nomination for his Salem work.

A day earlier, the pair had posed together at a Netflix premiere. Nothing in the filing or in that earlier confirmation says how things stand today, so we are sticking to the dates on the record.

From Nick Fallon To Everett Lynch

Days of Our Lives fans know Blake Berris as Nick Fallon, a role he first stepped into in 2006 and revisited several times through 2023. That same year, he came back to Salem as a brand-new character, Everett Lynch. His time as Nick earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in the younger actor category back in 2009.

Off screen, the couple shared a creative partnership too, since Alexandra directed him in a movie called Highway.
