CHAD DIMERA HAS A NEW FACE AND HALF OF DAYTIME TURNS OVER WITH HIM

TL;DR: Chad DiMera debuts with a brand new actor on Days of Our Lives, Anna Devane is finally filming her way back to General Hospital, Ashley Jones has officially joined Beyond the Gates, and the rotating door across all five soaps is working overtime this week.

Days of Our Lives: A New Chad DiMera, Two More DiMera Recasts, and a Very Pregnant Surprise

The biggest casting news of the week belongs to Days of Our Lives. After Billy Flynn hung up his Chad boots and hopped networks to pick up Cane Ashby on Y&RConner Floyd finally steps into Salem as Chad DiMera on Tuesday, April 21. Floyd, who DAYS fans may already know from his run as Chance Chancellor on Y&R, brings a whole new energy to the DiMera heir, and Chad arrives back on canvas with both kids in tow.

That is because Tuesday is a full-on DiMera family relaunch. Alexander Elijah Bond takes over the role of Thomas DiMera from Cary Christopher, and Autumn Gendron is back as Charlotte DiMera. Chad DiMera walks right into scenes with AnnaLynne McCord‘s Cat Greene, because of course he does.

Friday, April 24, brings the kind of doorstep drama DAYS does best. AlexAnn Hopkins resurfaces as Joy Wesley after a year away, turning up at the apartment of Robert Scott Wilson‘s Alex. Joy left Salem pregnant and lied straight to his face about it. Something tells us that lie is about to have a name, a birthday, and opinions.

Also on the week, Sal Stowers returns as Lani Price Grant, sharing scenes with Raven Bowens‘ Chanel on Monday, April 20, and reconnecting with Stacy Haiduk‘s Kristen on Wednesday, April 22. And Victoria Konefal is out here teasing a Ciara Brady comeback, so keep those eyes on Salem.

Got a theory about what Joy’s return to Alex’s doorstep actually means for the rest of Salem? Send your wildest predictions to [email protected] and we just might publish them!

General Hospital: Anna Devane Is Coming Home, Ethan Lovett Already Walked In, and a Mean Girls Alum Is Next

Port Charles is stacking its bench. Nathan Dean already resurfaced as Ethan Lovett this week, and finally, the news GHfans have been waiting on for weeks: Finola Hughes is back on set filming as Anna Devane. Chris McKenna dropped the update on X, which means Anna, last seen in February checking herself into a psychiatric clinic, is about to come back and rearrange everybody’s business in a few short weeks.

May gets even juicier. Jonathan Bennett, known to a whole generation as Aaron Samuels in the 2004 classic Mean Girls, joins GH as a Port Charles newcomer named Joe Fitzpatrick. No character details yet. Bennett is not new to daytime either, having played JR Chandler on All My Children from 2001 to 2002.

Broadway comes to Port Charles on Friday, April 24, when Michael James Scott appears as himself. Giovanni Mazza‘s Gio and Braedyn Bruner‘s Emma head to New York and pop backstage at Aladdin, where Scott is currently starring as Genie.

Beyond the Gates: Ashley Jones Joins the Party, Plus Two More New Faces Locked In

Fairmont Crest got a big get. Ashley Jones, the daytime veteran best known as Dr. Bridget Forrester on B&B and Megan Dennison on Y&R, has officially joined Beyond the Gates in a role the show is keeping under wraps. Eagle-eyed fans caught her first in a video posted by castmate Maurice P. Kerry as the cast celebrated BTG‘s two-year renewal through the 2027-to-2028 season. No air date yet. The hype is already ridiculous.

Also locked in for BTGDerrex Brady joins as Jaylen in April 2026, and Berry Williams signs on as Marco for June 2026. Fairmont Crest is officially getting crowded.

The Young and the Restless: A Summer Rumor Heats Up and Shemar Moore Is Still on His Way

Genoa City is quiet but loaded. Fan rumors are swirling hard that Summer Newman is heading home, especially with all the Supergirl chatter floating around lately. Nothing official, but the smoke is there.

Meanwhile, Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox are not done yet. Their episodes keep unfolding, with more Shemar sightings still to come, though no firm date has been confirmed for his next appearance. Genoa City is going to feel it when that door swings open.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Christian Weissman Is Back as Remy Pryce

After months off the canvas, Christian Weissman resurfaced as Remy Pryce last week on The Bold and the Beautiful, and the actor is officially gearing up for a fresh storyline. Whatever Remy is walking back into, you know it will be messy.

Which of this week’s arrivals has you the most hyped, and who do you want to see turn up next? Sound off below because this comment section is about to be a whole event.
