KRISTEN’S LETHAL REVENGE PLOT PUTS JOHNNY DIMERA IN SOPHIA CHOI’S CROSSHAIRS

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers have Johnny DiMera marked for death as Kristen weaponizes Sophia Choi, while Chanel’s terrifying breast lump discovery could be the final nail in this Salem supercouple’s coffin.

Kristen’s Revenge Plot Turns Diabolical

Buckle up, soap fans, because Salem just crossed a line we never thought possible. Days of Our Lives has confirmed Kristen DiMera is plotting to murder her own flesh and blood nephew, Johnny DiMera, as biblical revenge against her brother EJ DiMera. I genuinely had to rewind the scene to make sure I heard it correctly.

Yes, you read that right. Kristen blames EJ for daughter Rachel Black‘s current stay at Bayview Sanitarium, conveniently ignoring the very inconvenient fact that Rachel actually pulled the trigger on him AND swapped those pills. So naturally, Kristen’s solution is biblical retribution. An eye for an eye. A son for a daughter. Call me crazy, but that math ain’t mathing.

Enter Sophia Choi. Freshly sprung from Bayview and shacking up with her mom Amy Choi, Sophia is the perfect unhinged weapon. She already despises Johnny thanks to the whole Trey adoption mess, and Kristen is more than happy to pour gasoline on that dumpster fire. Sophia even negotiated a bonus hit, taking down Holly Jonas too, because apparently one murder isn’t enough for this girl’s rage resume.

Here’s the really sick part. Having the biological mother of Johnny’s adopted son be the one to murder him? That’s a new low, even for Kristen. And this is a woman whose greatest hits include drugging a priest. Twisted doesn’t even begin to cover this mess.

Is Kristen officially the worst DiMera alive, or is EJ secretly worse for everything he did to Rachel? Write to Amber at [email protected] and tell us which sibling you’re rooting against!

Chanel’s Pregnancy Takes a Terrifying Turn

And if the assassination plot wasn’t enough drama for one Salem household, Chanel Dupree is battling her own potential life-or-death crisis right under everyone’s nose. During a tender intimate moment with her husband, Johnny discovered a lump on his pregnant wife’s breast. A LUMP. On a woman already flagged as a high cancer risk.

Sarah Horton had previously reassured Chanel that everything was fine during her last checkup. So either the cancer roared back with absolutely brutal timing, or, and I cannot stress this enough, something was missed on that exam. Either way, this is catastrophic news for our favorite bakery queen.

Here’s the medical nightmare in technicolor. Breast tissue absolutely changes during pregnancy, that much is true. But if this lump turns out to be malignant, Chanel’s treatment options shrink dramatically. A biopsy? Possible. A lumpectomy? Maybe. Chemotherapy and radiation? Not while she’s carrying Johnny DiMera’s biological baby, not without risking her unborn child in the process.

And here’s exactly where I fully expect to scream into the void. Johnny DiMera is going to beg Chanel to terminate the pregnancy to save her own life. She’s going to refuse. She’s going to prioritize this baby over her own survival, and fans are absolutely going to LOSE their minds when the writers pull that trigger.

Is This the Double Exit Nobody Wanted?

Alright soap fam, let’s address the elephant crashing around the Salem living room. Carson Boatman (Johnny) and Raven Bowens (Chanel), along with Ashley Puzemis (Holly) and Leo Howard (Tate), were all axed back in January 2026. Thanks to the show’s famously long production timeline, they’ll keep appearing on our screens through late October or possibly November.

So connect the dots, darling. Murder plot, plus cancer scare, plus contractual exits, plus a baby on the way, plus an adopted son? This has “double death” written all over it in blood-red Sharpie. Is Sophia actually going to succeed in killing Johnny DiMera while Chanel loses her battle with cancer? Will baby Trey DiMera end up a DiMera orphan raised by Grandpa EJ and Aunt Kristen, the very woman who orchestrated his daddy’s murder? The irony would be almost poetic if it weren’t so devastating.

Reading between the lines of every spoiler leaking out of Salem lately, my gut tells me the writers are already sharpening their knives for sweeps. Something tells me this Days of Our Lives supercouple simply won’t survive the year. Stream every heartbreaking moment live on Peacock TV so you don’t miss a single tear, twist, or funeral.

Are Johnny and Chanel BOTH doomed for a body-bag exit, or will the writers shock us with a last-minute save? Drop your wildest predictions in the comments below and let’s debate whether daytime’s most heartbreaking double exit is REALLY about to happen!
