Wednesday’s Days of Our Lives episode shows Chanel Dupree in full panic mode, and honestly who can BLAME her?! DiMeras are disappearing left and right in Salem, and her husband Johnny is literally one of the few DiMera family members who HASN’T been kidnapped yet!
Chad DiMera, Kristen DiMera, Tony DiMera, and now Theo Carver are all trapped in the DiMera family crypt after being mysteriously snatched. On Tuesday’s episode, the captives made a BONE-CHILLING discovery when they found human remains buried beneath the crypt floor—bones that definitely shouldn’t be there since mausoleums are supposed to keep dead people ABOVE ground, not below it!
So when Chanel starts spiraling about Johnny potentially being next on the kidnapper’s list, Paulina steps in to provide some much-needed comfort. Paulina tries to reassure Chanel that Johnny will be fine, that the Salem PD and FBI are working the case, and that extra security precautions are being put in place. But let’s be REAL here—when has extra security ever actually stopped anything dramatic from happening in Salem?
Chanel has every right to be terrified! Her husband is a DiMera, they have baby Trey to think about, and whoever is kidnapping these people clearly has a vendetta against the entire family. The discovery of those mystery bones in the crypt suggests this kidnapper might be willing to KILL, which makes this situation even more terrifying than anyone initially thought!

Meanwhile in Chicago, Alex Kiriakis makes a surprise appearance that catches Stephanie Johnson completely off guard! Stephanie is currently on a book tour promoting her latest project, but things have gotten COMPLICATED because she has a stalker who followed her from Salem.
Alex has been worried sick about Stephanie’s safety ever since Steve Johnson analyzed the creepy fan mail and realized this person is DANGEROUS. So instead of just sitting around in Salem waiting for bad news, Alex apparently decides to take matters into his own hands and shows up in Chicago!
The Wednesday Days of Our Lives spoilers don’t reveal exactly HOW Stephanie reacts to Alex’s surprise visit, but we’re guessing she’ll be torn between being touched that he cares enough to fly to Chicago and being frustrated that he’s inserting himself into her work trip. Stephanie is an independent woman who doesn’t necessarily need a man swooping in to protect her, but at the same time, having Alex there might actually help the situation given that there’s literally a stalker targeting her!
This surprise visit could be exactly what Alex and Stephanie need to figure out where their relationship is actually heading. They’ve been doing this will-they-won’t-they dance for MONTHS, and maybe being in Chicago together—away from all the Salem drama—will force them to have an honest conversation about their future. Of course, that’s assuming the stalker doesn’t interrupt everything!
Brady Black & Sarah Horton Bond Over Their Catastrophic Lives!
Over at the Kiriakis mansion, Brady Black and Sarah Horton find themselves bonding over their respective life catastrophes. Brady is dealing with the fact that his daughter Rachel is currently at Bayview after her increasingly dangerous behavior, including dosing Sarah with pistachio oil to trigger her severe allergy!
Sarah is dealing with her divorce from Xander Kiriakis and the custody battle over their daughter Victoria. She’s also processing the revelation that Rachel deliberately tried to harm her—and nearly SUCCEEDED. Sarah could have died from that allergic reaction, and the fact that it was intentional rather than accidental makes it so much worse!
When these two damaged souls sit down to commiserate, they realize they actually understand each other’s pain in ways most people wouldn’t. They’re both struggling with complicated parenting situations. They’re both dealing with broken relationships. They’re both trying to figure out how to move forward when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
The Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest this bonding moment between Brady and Sarah is just the BEGINNING of something. But here’s where Wednesday’s episode gets REALLY concerning: Rachel Black is falling under the influence of Sophia Choi, and that is possibly the WORST friendship Rachel could make at Bayview!
For those who need a refresher, Sophia has been pretending to be catatonic at Bayview, but she’s actually fully aware and scheming. Rachel discovered Sophia’s secret and agreed to keep it, which means these two troubled girls have developed a secret alliance. And if you think Rachel was problematic BEFORE, just wait until Sophia starts whispering her twisted ideas into Rachel’s ear!
Sophia is still obsessed with getting baby Trey away from Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree. She believes that baby belongs to HER, even though Chanel is Trey’s biological mother and Sophia was just the surrogate. Sophia’s delusions about this situation are INTENSE, and now she has Rachel as a potential accomplice!
Rachel is already angry, impulsive, and willing to hurt people to get what she wants—we saw that with the pistachio incident! If Sophia convinces Rachel to help her with some scheme involving baby Trey, this could escalate into a legitimately dangerous situation. Two unstable youngsters plotting together at Bayview is a recipe for DISASTER, and Salem better watch out!
Tate Black Fills Holly Jonas In On His Complicated Life
Wednesday also features Tate Black confiding in Holly Jonas about whatever crisis he’s currently facing. Given that his sister Rachel is at Bayview and his father Brady is spiraling, Tate probably has PLENTY of dilemmas to discuss!
Tate might be torn about whether to visit Rachel at Bayview, or he could be struggling with guilt about his family situation. He might also be dealing with the aftermath of learning the full extent of Rachel’s dangerous behavior. Finding out your little sister deliberately poisoned someone is the kind of information that would mess with anyone’s head!
Holly has been a good friend to Tate throughout all of this chaos, so it makes sense that he’d turn to her when he needs to talk things through. These two have great chemistry and genuinely seem to care about each other, even when their relationship gets complicated by Salem drama!
