CHAD, TONY, KRISTEN AND THEO DIMERA JUST DUG UP HUMAN REMAINS AND FANS ARE LOSING IT

The DiMeras Hit Rock Bottom… Literally

Well, soap fans. Just when you thought this kidnapping storyline couldn’t get any darker, the writers decided to throw human remains into the mix. Because apparently being trapped in your own family’s crypt with your dysfunctional relatives wasn’t HORRIFYING enough already.

Here’s what went down. Chad DiMera, Tony DiMera, Kristen DiMera and Theo Carver have been held captive for weeks now. And like any group of desperate hostages, they decided to dig their way out. Smart plan, right? Except Kristen’s shovel hit something that definitely wasn’t dirt.

Human bones. Buried UNDER the crypt floor. Not in a casket. Not in a memorial. Just… shoved into the ground like someone’s dirty secret.

The four captives are now questioning EVERYTHING. They thought they’d be ransomed. They thought whoever kidnapped them wanted money or leverage. But finding skeletal remains beneath their feet? That changes the entire game. Now they’re wondering if they’re not hostages at all. Maybe they’re next on the list.

Email [email protected] with your wildest theories about whose bones the DiMeras just found!

Theory One: Rolf Is Rebuilding Stefano From His Children’s DNA

Let’s start with the theory that has longtime Days of Our Lives fans absolutely SPIRALING. Dr. Wilhelm Rolf has been confirmed lurking in the tunnels beneath the DiMera mansion this entire time. The man whose entire career has been dedicated to resurrecting Stefano DiMera just happens to be nearby while four of Stefano’s direct descendants are being held together?

That’s not a coincidence. That’s a HARVEST.

The spoilers explicitly question whether Rolf needs “blood and tissue from every living DiMera to resurrect the skeleton.” Think about that for a second. Chad, Tony, Kristen and Theo all share Stefano’s DNA. They’re not prisoners… they’re SPECIMENS. And those bones under the crypt floor? They could be the framework Rolf plans to rebuild. The Phoenix rising from literal ashes, reconstructed using his own children’s genetic material.

There’s also mention of a “mysterious casket” in Rolf’s lab. So the bones represent the past. The failure. Whatever’s in that casket represents the future. And suddenly this whole nightmare makes terrifying sense.

Theory Two: Those Bones Could Belong to the REAL Abigail

This theory is the one that could absolutely DESTROY Chad DiMera if it proves true. And honestly? It tracks perfectly with recent events. For more DOOL coverage, check out our Days of Our Lives spoilers page.

Remember Cat Greene? The woman who showed up claiming to be Abigail, complete with a DNA test that “proved” she was Jack Deveraux’s daughter? Chad wanted so desperately to believe his wife was alive that he fell for it.

So Cat Greene was a fake. We know that now. But here’s the terrifying question… what if the Abigail everyone originally mourned was ALSO not the real deal? What if the actual Abigail Deveraux died in Rolf’s tunnels years ago and was buried beneath the crypt? What if Chad just dug up his wife’s REAL remains?

The source material calls this scenario “maximum emotional devastation for Chad.” No kidding. The man just got over being fooled by Cat Greene. Finding out there may have been MULTIPLE deceptions about his wife’s death? That the woman he buried wasn’t even her? Billy Flynn better be preparing his Emmy reel.

Theory Three: A Secret DiMera Sibling Stefano Buried and Erased

Here’s where things get REALLY dark. The research draws a parallel to the Medici dynasty, where exhumations revealed “dark family secrets,” “false paternity events,” and “genetic decline.” The DiMeras are basically Salem’s version of Italian Renaissance crime royalty. So it makes sense their crypt would hold similar horrors.

What if Stefano experimented on his own children before Tony, Kristen, Chad and EJ were born? What if there was a “beta test” that didn’t survive? A deformed sibling or failed clone that Stefano buried in the dirt beneath the crypt rather than memorialize?

This would mean every DiMera heir currently alive is potentially a “successful” experiment. And the bones under their feet are proof of what happens to the failures. No memorial. No acknowledgment. Just erased from family history like they never existed.

That’s not just creepy. That’s MYTHOLOGY-CHANGING information that would reframe everything we thought we knew about this family.
