Salem Serves Up Surprises

Stacy Haiduk is back as Kristen DiMera on Friday, and she walks into the biggest surprise of the week. Kristen finds Rachel Boyd‘s Sophia Choi, very much alive. Kristen has been missing from Salem since July, so her return carries a lot of baggage, and Sophia turning up breathing is not something anyone in town was expecting.

Tajh Bellow fills in for Tyler Joseph Andrews as Theo Carver on Tuesday only, a one-day recast that fans will want to watch for. Theo agrees to help Gabi that same day, so the stand-in lands in the middle of a very busy storyline.

Lorelei Olivia Mote is back as Rachel Black on Tuesday, and her scenes leave Eric Martsolf‘s Brady Black feeling uneasy.

Franco LoPresti returns as Dante Vitali on Thursday, when he surprises Sydney Malakeh‘s Sydney DiMera. Dante is Sami Brady’s fiancรฉ and was once roommates at boarding school with the mysterious Dominic Marino, so his reappearance in Salem is anything but small talk.

Elia Cantu is back as Jada Hunter on Wednesday, when she and Brandon Beemer‘s Shawn Brady share a romantic moment. On Thursday she presses Dan Feuerriegel‘s EJ DiMera with questions, one day after EJ confronts Maggie Carney‘s Rita about Dominic.

Lauren Koslow gets more airtime as Kate Roberts, who comes up with a plan to assist Maggie on Monday, and on Tuesday Josh Taylor‘s Roman Brady catches her off guard. Conner Floyd‘s Chad DiMera is set for scenes on Friday, when Martha Madison‘s Belle Black turns to him for help.
