Leave it to Salem to blow up a secret in front of exactly the wrong people. Liam Selejko, pressed about why he’d ghosted his almost-ex, finally let the truth slip: Gabi DiMera had paid him off to leave town.

The timing could not have been more brutal. Liam dropped the bombshell just as he planted a goodbye kiss on Arianna Horton, and a crushed Aaron Greene rounded the corner with coffee in hand to witness the whole thing. Then the secret fully unraveled as Gabi’s role came spilling out in front of her own furious daughter.
