Days Of Our Lives
DAYS WEEKLY SPOILERS—OCTOBER 19-23: Confessions, Introductions, and an Emergency Keep Salem on Edge
DAYS Weekly Spoilers: A mother fights her way back to her daughter, a family empire cracks, and one emergency call stops Salem cold.
THESE DAYS WEEKLY SPOILERS PROVE SALEM CANNOT KEEP ITS SECRETS
TL;DR: These DAYS Weekly Spoilers follow Kristen finally getting to her daughter as Brady draws a line, EJ losing his footing as his own son turns on him, Marlena and Roman grilling Dante, and Johnny reaching for the phone to call 911.

This Week in Salem
These DAYS Weekly Spoilers open on a town where every confession seems to knock loose three more. Kristen DiMera walks back into her daughter’s life with plenty to explain, EJ DiMera learns his own family is done picking up his calls, and a houseguest with a talent for timing keeps one apartment simmering. By Friday somebody is dialing 911, and Salem, which has never once learned to relax, braces accordingly.
Elsewhere, a fiancé gets a proper inspection from the in-laws, a hospital romance gets a long-overdue honest conversation, and Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree steel themselves for a medical date neither of them wants on the calendar. Nobody in this town gets to coast.
Do you think Kristen’s comeback helps her cause or hands everyone a fresh reason to keep her out? Email us at amber@soapoperamagazine.com, we want your theories.

Monday, October 19th
Kristen gets the thing she has been chasing across state lines, a few minutes beside Rachel Black, who has been calling for her mother from a hospital bed. Tears flow freely, and the tissue supply in that room does not stand a chance.
Brady Black has a different take on the homecoming. He spent days dialing a phone that never rang back, and he is done letting anybody else set the terms for his daughter, so he draws a line and plans to stand on it. Kristen has never handled a boundary gracefully, which makes this a very entertaining afternoon for the rest of us.
George O’Halloran brings EJ news no executive enjoys, a firing with Johnny’s fingerprints all over it. EJ has spent weeks insisting that family is his fortress, and the drawbridge has been hoisted from the other side.
Kayla Brady Johnson greets the fallout around EJ with a sigh of relief and zero apology. After everything swirling around DiMera lately, she is not about to fake a eulogy.
Steve Johnson meets Cat Greene with far more patience than she packed for. Cat has been bracing for every person in town to sharpen their knives over her ties to EJ, so a man willing to listen is a plot twist all by himself.
Tuesday, October 20th
Marlena Evans and Roman Brady sit down with Dante Vitali for the family-inspection portion of any engagement. The questions arrive politely, which is the scariest way to ask them, and Dante has to charm two people who have seen every kind of smooth talker Salem has to offer.
Marlena has more on her mind than small talk. She has been carrying a heavy secret about a certain man Dante went to boarding school with, Dominic Marino, and sitting across from his old friend makes the weight a lot harder to hide.
Bonnie Lockhart hands Joy Wesley a dose of friendly advice. Whether Joy takes it or files it under things to nod at politely is the real question, since nodding sweetly at well-meaning people has become her specialty.
Stephanie Johnson carries her worries about Joy to Alex Kiriakis once more. A doubt that refuses to retire does not get quieter with repeat use, and Alex wears the look of a man wedged between his wife and his houseguest.
Sophia Choi gets to see the one person who might forgive anything, her mother, Amy Choi. A hug that long carries an unpaid bill of explanations right behind it.
Mason Whitfield receives good news, a rarity in a town where good news usually shows up with strings attached and a hidden camera.

Wednesday, October 21st
EJ pulls Dante aside to deliver a warning about treating Sami Brady with care. Someone with EJ’s romantic history lecturing anyone on the subject of hurting people is the sort of irony Sami could have framed and hung over the mantel.
Brady offers Kristen a sliver of hope, and she grabs it like the last lifeboat on the ship. It is not a pardon, but for a woman who has worn the villain’s cape in this town for years, a sliver tastes like a banquet.
Joy squeaks past a close call with Alex by the thinnest margin imaginable. Her luck is holding, but luck has a habit of checking out of hotels without notice.
Philip Kiriakis slides an offer across the table to Stephanie. Given Philip’s lifelong relationship with high-stakes proposals, she should count every card before agreeing to anything.
Thursday, October 22nd
Javi Hernandez stops dodging and tells Leo Stark exactly how he feels. After a rescheduled dinner and one very inconvenient arrest, a heartfelt confession counts as a minor miracle.
Theo Carver holds out an invite to EJ. Theo has spoken openly about wanting the family empire dismantled, so the offer lands as either a truce or a trap, and no one at the table can say which.
Chanel heads toward her lumpectomy, and Johnny does everything a worried husband can do, which is mostly pace in a straight line. They have already climbed the chemo mountain together, which makes this the next hurdle on a long road.
The case Steve has been chasing bends in a direction nobody saw coming. Given that Steve rarely digs without hitting something, the shock is bound to land hard.
Friday, October 23rd
Johnny reaches for the phone and calls 911. Whatever has pushed him to that call is serious enough to freeze half of Salem in place.
Kayla designs a challenge for Joy, a test with real consequences. It is the kind of exam you cannot cram for if you have been fudging the syllabus.
Stephanie and Alex take in troubling news. A couple with a full plate and a houseguest in the guest room get handed one more helping.
Xander Kiriakis and Sarah Horton wrap up the week with their safety on the line. Salem has a gift for sending exactly the wrong two people into exactly the wrong room.
Which storyline do you think blows up first, the Joy situation or the DiMera civil war? Tell us in the comments.

The Week Salem Cannot Take Back
Between a reunion with strings attached, a family that has stopped answering to EJ, and a call to 911 that ends the week on a cliff, Salem is about to learn how many secrets it can hold at once. Does Kristen earn a place beside Rachel, or does Brady’s line hold? Does Joy slip before the week is out, or does her luck outlast everyone’s patience? And is Theo’s invitation an olive branch or a setup?
Tell us on our Facebook page: should Brady let Kristen back in, or keep the door locked?
