JOHNNY DIMERA CALLS 911 AS SARAH AND XANDER FACE DANGER

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers have Johnny DiMera and Chanel getting ready for her lumpectomy on Thursday, October 22, and Johnny calling 911 on Friday, October 23, as Sarah and Xander land in danger. No preview says who the call is for.

Chanel’s Surgery Week Ends With a 911 Call

Chanel’s surgery is coming, and so is an emergency. The Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 22 have Johnny DiMera right by his wife’s side as Chanel DiMera gets ready for her lumpectomy. On Friday, October 23, Johnny calls 911. That same day, Sarah Horton and Xander Kiriakis find themselves in danger.

Here is the maddening part: not one published preview says who the call is for. Is it Chanel, Sarah and Xander, or somebody nobody is watching? We went through every preview for the week and came up empty, so we lined up the suspects ourselves, each one tied to something already on screen.

How Johnny Turned on His Own Father

To see why this call matters, look at what Johnny did on Friday, October 16. As our daily recaps laid out, he told Sarah and Xander he had given a statement that the FDA complaint over contaminated Coriseal was accurate. He promised to offer Destiny’s family a settlement and to clear Sarah’s name. Xander was still angry that it took him this long.

Then came the police station. Johnny DiMera was told about a change to Destiny’s medical records, and he pointed straight at George O’Halloran, the head of DiMera Pharmaceuticals. Has Johnny been charged with anything? Not so far. When Sarah asked whether he would face charges, he just shrugged.

George O’Halloran Is Out of a Job

On Monday, October 19, EJ DiMera learns that Johnny DiMera fired George. Think about who that is. George is the man who handed Johnny the FDA complaint back in September and told him to deny and deflect. He is the man Johnny just named to the police. Come Monday, he is also a man without a job, and four days later Johnny is on the phone with 911.

Who Is Johnny DiMera’s 911 Call For on Days of Our Lives?

Nobody knows yet. Chanel is the obvious fear. She finished her final round of chemo and rang the bell on October 8, and on Thursday she gets ready for surgery. Nothing says her cancer is back or that the lumpectomy goes wrong, but a husband dialing 911 the next day will have every viewer holding their breath.

Sarah and Xander are the case nobody else is making. They land in danger the very same Friday, and the thread tying them to Johnny runs through George. Johnny is the one trying to clear Sarah. George is the one he blamed for the records. If I know these writers, those two lines are about to cross.

Then there is EJ. At least one spoiler watcher floated that the call has more to do with EJ than with Chanel, and EJ’s week is busy enough to fit. And do not forget Sophia Choi, back in Salem and watching Johnny with Trey from across the square. Sophia is Trey’s birth mother. Johnny and Chanel adopted him.

The Exit Clock Is Still Running

All of this plays out against a goodbye nobody has dated. Carson Boatman and Raven Bowens were let go in January, and reports at the time put their final episodes in late 2026 or early 2027. Boatman has already wrapped. How Johnny DiMera and Chanel leave Salem has never been announced, so anyone selling you a death scene is guessing.

Johnny has said on screen that he would move his family back to Italy in a heartbeat, and the wider spoiler slate has floated Italy and even witness protection. We mapped those paths in our look at how Johnny and Chanel could exit. Reading between the lines, a man who just fired the keeper of DiMera’s dirtiest secret has a very good reason to want his family far away.

Is Chanel in danger, or is George making Johnny pay? Tell us in the comments.

Our Money Is on George O’Halloran

Our take: the writers did not put Sarah and Xander in danger on the same Friday as Johnny’s 911 call by accident. Johnny pointed the police at George and fired him, and Monday hands the news straight to EJ. That is a fuse, and Friday is when it burns down.

We hope Chanel’s surgery is the one storyline this week that goes right. She has earned it. Are you Team Chanel or Team George on this call? Pick a side and argue it out with us on our Facebook page.
