DOOL SPOILERS 8-19: SALEM BRACES FOR ONE GOODBYE AND ONE BIRTH

TL;DR: DOOL spoilers for 8-19 deliver Xander’s estate offer, Marlena’s chessboard scare, and Philip’s last poker pitch, all while Theo turns on Johnny DiMera over the Lexie lie and Chanel labors two doors down.

Theo Carver Learns the Truth and Turns on Johnny

The DOOL spoilers 8-19 lineup lands one day after the ugliest family reckoning Salem has seen all summer. On Tuesday’s episode, Theo Carver found out that Johnny DiMera knew exactly where a dying Lexie Carver was hidden and lied about it. The two men were sitting side by side, donating blood for the transfusion Johnny’s wife needs, when the truth finally surfaced. Theo was horrified, and he should be.

The lie dates back to August 10. EJ DiMera confessed to his son that he had stashed Lexie in the DiMera tunnels while she wasted away, then begged him to keep it quiet. Johnny looked his cousin in the eye and swore EJ knew nothing. Theo tracked his mother to those tunnels himself on August 14, and by Monday she was in a hospital bed with very little time left.

Wednesday will not calm anything down. Circulating spoiler chatter says Theo wants nothing more to do with his cousin, and by Thursday he flat out refuses to forgive him. The partnership those two built at DiMera Enterprises now looks like collateral damage, and honestly, Theo has every right to torch it.

DOOL Spoilers Send Paulina Price Straight at Johnny

Theo is not the only one with a warning. Paulina Price cornered Johnny at the hospital too, and her timing could not be heavier. Chanel DiMera is in early labor with a low blood count and no epidural on the table, pushing through a delivery while her cancer treatment sits on hold until the baby arrives. Meanwhile Abe Carver holds vigil at Lexie’s bedside, praying for time nobody can promise him.

Reading between the lines, Paulina’s fury cuts at the oldest fault line in this marriage. Chanel has carried one specific fear about the man she married: that when the DiMera name called, Johnny would answer it before he answered her. Keeping his father’s secret while his wife labored down the hall looks an awful lot like proof, and my gut says Paulina intends to make him sit with that.

What Happens on Days of Our Lives on Wednesday, August 19?

Wednesday, August 19 brings five confirmed beats to Salem. Xander Cook Kiriakis gets an offer on the Kiriakis estate, the kind of money that could dig Titan out of its debt or gut the family legacy for good. Brady Black and Sarah Horton take a big step forward in their romance. And Marlena Evans gets pulled deeper into the mystery of Stefano’s chessboard, where a disturbing discovery is waiting for her.

The money games roll on too. Philip Kiriakis makes one last pitch to Gabi Hernandez to bankroll his five million dollar seat at the Monte Carlo poker table, and Gabi faces a choice that could chain her future to the Kiriakis fight. Far from Salem, Leo Stark serves Dimitri a dose of hard truth that has been a long time coming.

DOOL Spoilers for the Rest of the Week Turn Brutal

Thursday piles it on. Theo refuses to forgive Johnny, and Gwen Rizczech finally gets her reunion with Leo. Friday is the one to keep tissues ready for: Jada Hunter questions EJ, Abe and Theo hope for more time with Lexie, and Chanel’s delivery takes a frightening turn. The week’s preview teases one devastating trade, with Lexie’s goodbye arriving as a new DiMera takes a first breath.

DOOL Spoilers Leave Chanel One Secret From Shattering

Now for the part nobody has confirmed. Chanel does not yet know what her husband hid, and don’t be surprised if the truth reaches her hospital room at the worst possible moment. Could this mean the baby’s arrival and the DiMera fallout land in the same hour? If I know these writers, they will not waste a delivery room full of secrets. My prediction: Paulina gets there first.

One more wrinkle worth watching. Carson Boatman’s exit was announced back in January, and Johnny’s final material is expected to reach Peacock late this year or early next. That hands the writers a ticking clock and zero reason to play it safe. Whatever Johnny chooses next, the DiMera name or his marriage, that choice will define how this love story leaves Salem.

Think Chanel hears the truth before that baby arrives? Leave your prediction in the comments on this page and defend it.

Johnny Gave Chanel’s Oldest Fear a Heartbeat

Here is where I land. Johnny did not set out to hurt anyone, but protecting EJ meant letting Theo grieve blind and letting his wife labor next to a secret. That is not loyalty, that is the DiMera machine doing what it always does, and Johnny climbed in willingly. Theo’s rage is earned. Paulina’s warning is a mercy compared to what Chanel’s reaction will be.

So pick your corner. Team Theo says some lies cannot be forgiven, while Team Johnny says a son shielding a shattered father deserves grace. Bring your side to our Facebook page and let Salem hear it.

Days of Our Lives FAQ

Does Theo Carver forgive Johnny for the Lexie secret? Not this week. Theo learned on the August 18 episode that Johnny knew EJ was hiding a dying Lexie in the DiMera tunnels, and Thursday’s August 20 lineup says he refuses to forgive his cousin. Their partnership at DiMera Enterprises now hangs by a thread.

Does Chanel have her baby on Days of Our Lives this week? Signs point that way. Chanel went into early labor on the August 17 episode and needed a transfusion, and Friday’s lineup warns her delivery takes a frightening turn. The week’s official preview teases a birth arriving as Salem faces a devastating goodbye.

Is Johnny DiMera leaving Days of Our Lives? An exit is coming, but not yet. Carson Boatman’s departure was announced in January 2026, and because the show tapes about ten months ahead, Johnny’s final episodes are expected to stream in late 2026 or early 2027. He remains front and center for now.
