Days Spoilers: EJ Seeks Revenge, Chloe Conflicted Over Philip

EJ vowed vengeance against Ava and Xander on Days of Our Lives. He hired a hitwoman to take them out, while Chloe found herself drawn to Philip again.

Rex suggested marrying Sarah before the baby came. Philip then arrived, revealing Brady agreed not to press charges against him. Sarah and Rex reacted with surprise.

Nicole was stunned when Chloe said Philip was alive. She laughed that Chloe didn’t have to marry Xander now. Defensive, Chloe wondered if Nicole spoke from experience about first loves.

Outside the Pub, Xander encountered a tearful Theresa. She claimed to be grieving Brady and Victor. Xander assumed Brady rejected her, but she fired back that Sarah dumped him too.

At Bayview, Ava insisted to Harris she wasn’t responsible for Susan’s “death.” She saw Susan before the car exploded. Harris wondered why she lied to the doctor about her memories. Ava feared she wouldn’t believe her, but knew Susan lived.

EJ met with a hitwoman, wanting Ava to suffer like his mother did. The woman thought EJ didn’t do this anymore, but he said it was personal. She would handle it without implicating EJ. He added Xander should die too.

At night, the trim woman met EJ with a steely expression.

At the hospital, a vacant Sloan told Eric how sorry she was about losing their child. She knew he wanted to be a father. Eric assured they had each other. Sloan blamed herself for Eric not having kids.

Sloan later suggested adopting a baby to an excited Eric.

Theresa taunted Xander over Sarah leaving him. Stunned, she learned he was engaged to Chloe. Xander called Mexico ancient history and said Chloe knew he’d changed. Theresa still saw a psycho who’d crack someday. She hoped Chloe would stick a knife in him if desperate enough.

Eric grabbed Xander’s wrist to stop him grabbing Theresa. Eric and Theresa then caught up, discussing if fatherhood wasn’t meant to be. She asked him to put in a good word about her with Brady.

In the mansion, Philip told Rex and Sarah that Brady wouldn’t press charges. He was surprised about Rex and Sarah’s baby. After Sarah left, Philip said he realized his love for Chloe was unhealthy. But he confessed to still loving her deeply. Rex sighed over Philip’s obsession.

Sloan told EJ outside Bayview that vengeance leads down a dark path. After discussing their child losses, EJ said no one deserved that pain. Sloan pointedly replied maybe fatherhood was still possible for EJ. He said his heart went out to them both.

In Bayview, Harris said to tell EJ that Susan was alive. Ava refused, fearing he wouldn’t believe her. A woman arrived, claiming Ava needed medication. Suspicious, Ava said she’d never gotten meds there before. The woman pulled a gun.

At the mansion, Philip vowed not to interfere with Xander and Chloe to free up Xander for Sarah. Rex said he wasn’t worried. Philip referenced Sarah’s baby being Rex’s. Rex unconvincingly agreed.

Chloe told Nicole her heart skipped a beat seeing Philip, but only from shock that he was alive. Nicole countered that Chloe’s heart was saying Philip was the one for her. After sparring, they agreed not to choose the other’s partners.

Eric consoled Theresa over motherhood potentially not being God’s plan for him. After offering support, she asked him to promote her to Brady. Eric questioned her motives.

Theresa vowed not to give up on Brady.

Philip thanked Chloe for helping with Brady. Xander took Chloe to dinner as she wistfully glanced back at Philip.

Rex hoped Philip wouldn’t come between Xander and Chloe. That was best for everyone, especially Sarah’s baby. Sarah looked uncertain.

Sloan rushed into the Pub, suggesting she and Eric adopt.

EJ told Nicole he awaited word his associate closed a deal, implying Ava and Xander’s deaths.
