She accuses him of burying the Coriseal mess and of letting all of Salem believe she had gone back to using. Then she warns him that he is going to pay for it.

The rage is earned. Holly trusted him, and he had the credentials for it. He was her stepfather back when he was married to her mother, and for months he played her legal champion against the lawsuit Amy filed after Sophia vanished. What he was actually doing was letting a contaminated DiMera batch sit buried on Smith Island while she got sicker by the week, then planting pills in her bag so the town would write her off as a relapse.

Here is the part that should worry Holly more than it worries EJ. She does not have a shred of proof. Everything she is throwing at him came secondhand from Sarah, who connected the arsenic to the drug while she was treating her. Expect EJ to do exactly what he always does, which is look wounded, suggest that somebody else slipped those pills into her bag, and wait for her to burn herself out. Anyone following the wider daytime coverage of this family has watched him survive worse with less.
