Only One Report Says Xander Gets Shot
Xander Kiriakis is in trouble, but nobody has shown him taking a bullet. One spoiler report claims Xander gets shot protecting Sarah Horton, and a second site repeated it on October 19. Every other set of Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of October 19 stops short of a shooting. What they do have is a sneak peek photo of Xander passed out on a lab table while Sarah tries to help him.
This week’s promo shows how they get there. George O’Halloran walks in on Sarah and Xander in a lab, finds them with evidence that will incriminate him, and warns, “I’m sorry, but I can’t let you leave with that computer.” Then he draws a gun on them. Does he pull the trigger? No preview says, and no preview says why Xander is out cold.
How a Computer Became Sarah’s Best Hope
Sarah has been fighting a wrongful death suit since September, when Destiny’s parents went after her and the hospital. As our daily recaps tracked it, George told EJ DiMera on September 23 that he and Rita were setting Sarah up. EJ’s answer: if the plan fell apart, George would take the fall. On October 16, Johnny DiMera pointed police toward George over the digital change to Destiny’s records and vowed to clear Sarah’s name.
That same day, Xander Kiriakis accepted that he and Sarah are not getting back together. Marlena Evans urged him to find a new way to love her, as a partner instead of a lover. Now he is the one standing beside her when George walks in.
Then on Monday, October 19, Johnny fired George. Previews had George taking the news straight to EJ. This week’s promo also has Steve Johnson zeroing in on George and finding his bags packed to leave Salem, and on Thursday, October 22, Steve’s investigation takes a shocking turn.

Does Xander Kiriakis Get Shot on Days of Our Lives?
Not in any preview we can find. The shooting comes from one spoiler report that hedges its own words, saying only that it looks like Xander will get shot protecting Sarah. The October 19 repeat pointed to a source that never says anyone is shot. That same report has Johnny arriving to find Xander in need of paramedics, and nothing else backs that up either.
Here is what the previews do say. On Friday, October 23, Sarah and Xander find themselves in danger, and Johnny calls 911. Nobody has said those are the same scene, or who the call is for. Johnny and Chanel DiMera prepare for her lumpectomy the day before, so Chanel is the fear every viewer will carry into Friday. George was our pick for that call when his gun first turned up in the promo, and a photo of Xander out cold makes it a much closer race.
Who Goes Down If That Computer Gets Out
Follow the dominoes. If Xander Kiriakis and Sarah get that computer out of the lab, Sarah finally has a real shot at clearing her name and getting out from under the suit. Johnny’s word to the police gets stronger, though he still has no deal and has not been charged. George, fired and packed, loses the last thing he had to bargain with.
Then there is EJ. He promised in September that George would take the fall, but a cornered man with a gun and nothing left to lose rarely goes quietly. If I know these writers, whatever is on that computer does not stop at George’s name. Could it be enough to drag EJ down with him? The wider spoiler slate has not said what happens after Friday.

Xander Is in Danger, and George Is Out of Options
Our take: Xander Kiriakis is not leaving Salem over a laptop. The photo of him out cold is a cliffhanger, and the writers just set him up as the man who loves Sarah enough to let her go. Getting hurt while protecting her is exactly the kind of move that puts that love back on the table, Brady or no Brady.
