Linsey Godfrey Said The Quiet Part Into A Microphone

Days of Our Lives spoilers have Sarah Horton in the steadiest relationship she has had in years, and the woman who plays her just told everybody not to get comfortable. Asked in July about where things stand, Linsey Godfrey called Sarah and Xander Kiriakis soulmates. Not exes. Not history. Soulmates, present tense, said out loud while her character was busy building a life with somebody else.

Godfrey did not dress it up. She described Sarah finding love, friendship, appreciation and gentleness with Brady Black, and Xander finding passion and sexiness with Gwen and Kristen. Read that list twice. One column is a comfortable couch. The other one is a fire.

Then came the line that should worry every Brady fan in Salem. “I think Sarah loves Xander so, so much,” Godfrey said, “and I think the problem with Xander has always been Xander. It’s never a lack of love.” That is not an actress hedging about a triangle, that is an actress telling you the obstacle was never the feeling, and obstacles get removed. Eric Martsolf Saw The Holes Before Anybody Else Did

Brady’s side has been on the record even longer. Back in the fall, Eric Martsolf said Xander and Sarah had done a darn good job of destroying trust and foundation, and that holes had opened up. Then he explained the business he works in. What soaps do, he said, is take holes and make them bigger, because it lets fish swim right in.

He meant Brady as the fish, and he said it cheerfully. He also said Brady’s intentions toward Sarah Horton are very, very good and that it would be difficult not to root for them, which is the kind of thing people say about a man who is about to get hurt. Martsolf named shared single parenthood as their connective tissue, Victoria on one side and Rachel on the other. He is right that it is real. Shared bedtimes are not a shared future.

None of this is an actor spoiling an ending. Actors talk about where a character’s head is, not where the writers are steering. But when both leads of a pairing describe it by what it heals rather than what it is, write that down.

Are Sarah and Brady Breaking Up on Days of Our Lives?

Not yet, and nothing confirmed says they will. As of the August 28 episode Sarah Horton and Brady are together, they have said the words, and Victoria is moving into his place with her. What is confirmed is next week. On Wednesday, September 2, Sarah and Brady grow suspicious together, which is Black Patch work, the job Brady took in June alongside Steve Johnson.

Here is the part nobody else has put together. Stack what both actors have said against that spoiler and a pattern shows up. Brady is written as the man who finds everybody’s secrets, inside a storyline that keeps parking his girlfriend in her ex-husband’s disasters. He gets sharper at the job in exactly the stretch where he misses the obvious thing in his own house.

The Mansion Collapse Keeps Throwing Her Back At Him

Friday made the point without subtlety. EJ DiMera called the Titan loan, the Kiriakis mansion went up for sale to a buyer nobody has named on screen, and Philip Kiriakis scraped together a one week stall while Gabi Hernandez bankrolled a five million dollar seat at a card table in Monte Carlo. That gamble has not played out yet.

And where was Sarah Horton while Xander wrapped Victor’s portrait in packing paper? Standing in the DiMera mansion, telling EJ the Kiriakis family would have their revenge. Three days after she told Xander she was moving in with another man, she was in enemy territory defending his name. My gut tells me the writers knew exactly what that looked like.

Don’t be surprised if losing the house finishes what the divorce started. A Xander with Titan, a mansion and an ego is a man Sarah can walk away from. A Xander with none of it, packing his dead father’s portrait alone, is a man she has never once managed to leave alone in a room.
