Melinda represents Destiny’s parents, who are filing a wrongful death suit against Sarah and the hospital. Destiny was Sarah’s patient at the clinic, and she died on June 3. Last Friday, Sarah got a call warning her that the parents planned a televised statement accusing her. Exactly how Melinda makes her move on Thursday, the preview does not spell out.

Here is the part that stings. Back in March, Melinda was the lawyer who drafted new custody papers for Sarah and Xander Kiriakis, and she got it done fast enough to earn a tearful thank you. Six months later she is the one pointing the finger at Sarah, in front of anyone who will listen. In this town, yesterday’s ally is tomorrow’s opposing counsel.

Sarah Horton Fears for Her License

This is the moment Sarah has dreaded since last Friday. She and Kayla Johnson found an asterisk on Destiny’s lab results, and the footnote says Sarah edited them on June 4, the day after Destiny died. Sarah denied it on the spot and insisted someone was framing her.

Then she said the scary part out loud. If people believe she altered those records, she could lose her license. On Monday she fretted about the coming announcement, worried that even if she is cleared, the allegations could follow her for the rest of her career. Thursday is when that fear stops being private.

Who Changed Destiny’s Records on Days of Our Lives?

Nobody has proven it either way. Brady Black blames EJ DiMera and wants a forensic check of the computer system to learn when the file was changed and which terminal was used. He and Steve Johnson believe EJ likely coordinated the whole lawsuit as payback for Sarah’s FDA complaint. No result from that check has turned up yet.

Now put two Tuesday scenes side by side. When Xander stormed the DiMera mansion and said they know EJ altered Destiny’s medical records, EJ did not blink. He said Destiny died because of Sarah’s lack of care, that the family deserves justice, and that he did not need to create any evidence. That same day, his son Johnny DiMera left him an angry voicemail begging him not to frame Sarah. When your own son is pleading with you like that, “I didn’t need to” is not much of an alibi.

Brady Guards Marlena’s Secret While Backing Sarah Horton

Brady has his hands full on Thursday. He promises his stepmother, Marlena Evans, that her secret is safe with him. That secret is the birth certificate naming Marlena as the mother of Dominic Marino, which Steve told Brady about on Monday with Marlena’s agreement.

Brady also agreed on Monday to work with Xander to help Sarah, so he is guarding two women at once. That is a lot of loyalty for one man, and in Salem loyalty is exactly what gets tested first.

Steve Goes to Belle as Philip and Joy Make Their Moves

Steve shares his latest hunch with Belle Black on Thursday. Nobody is saying what it is. With Sarah’s case and Marlena’s secret both on his mind, my gut tells me it touches one of them.

Philip Kiriakis comes clean with Maggie Kiriakis the same day. Wednesday’s spoilers have Kate Roberts questioning him about his gambling, so don’t be surprised if that is what Maggie hears about.
