Sarah saw it coming. On Friday she was warned that Melinda, who represents Destiny’s parents, planned to go public against her. Destiny was Sarah’s patient at the clinic, and she died on June 3. Her parents are filing a wrongful death suit against Sarah and the hospital, and Thursday is the day Melinda takes it out from behind closed doors.

The Footnote Sarah Swears She Never Wrote

Here is what makes Thursday so ugly. On Friday, Sarah and Kayla Johnson went through Destiny’s records and spotted an asterisk on her lab results. The footnote says Sarah edited those results on June 4, the day after Destiny died. Sarah says she never touched them.

They took it straight to Steve Johnson and Brady Black at the Pub, and all four came away believing EJ DiMera is behind the changed files. Brady wants to search the computer system to learn when the edit was made and where it came from. Nobody has proven a thing yet, which is exactly why Xander’s showdown with EJ on Tuesday matters so much.

Why Is Sarah Horton Being Sued on Days of Our Lives?

Because Destiny’s parents hold her responsible for their daughter’s death, and they have Melinda in their corner. Some spoiler chatter claims the footnote is the evidence behind the suit. The show has not said that. When Sarah and Kayla first went over the lawsuit, Kayla found nothing in the files to back its claims, and the footnote turned up afterward. Sarah Horton Has Allies, and Brady Has a Secret to Keep

Brady is protecting more than one woman this week. On Thursday he supports Marlena Evans and vows to keep her secret: the birth certificate that names Marlena as the mother of Dominic Marino. The biggest Friday bomb belongs to Johnny DiMera. He comes clean to Rafe Hernandez about everything, and it sounds like exactly the break Rafe needs in his case. Johnny has kept his father’s Coriseal secrets since June, so everything is a lot.

Meanwhile EJ confides in Rita Lesley, his assistant. If I know these writers, EJ is opening up to Rita at the very moment his son is opening the family vault to Rafe. What EJ tells her, the spoilers do not say.

Don’t be surprised if that confession loops back to Sarah Horton. Her FDA complaint is what put DiMera Pharmaceuticals under a microscope in the first place, and Johnny knows what is buried there. One honest DiMera could change her whole week.
