DAYS OF OUR LIVES SPOILERS OCTOBER 15, 2026: STEPHANIE JOHNSON SHARES HER JOY WESLEY SUSPICIONS WITH ALEX

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 15, 2026 have Stephanie Johnson sharing her suspicions about Joy with Alex, while Joy flirts with her trainer, Tate. The chatter that Stephanie recruits Tate as her lookout is not in the day’s previews.

Stephanie Finally Says It to Alex

The Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 15 put Stephanie Johnson in front of her husband, Alex Kiriakis, with the thing she cannot shake: her suspicions about Joy Wesley. Every preview for the day agrees she shares them with him. The same day, Joy turns on the charm with Tate Black, the trainer who is supposed to get her moving again, and flirts with him during their sessions.

Here is what Stephanie is carrying into that talk. As our daily recaps showed on Monday, she opened the apartment door and Joy quickly sat back down in her wheelchair. Later Stephanie told her mother, Kayla Johnson, that she thinks she saw Joy’s leg move. Kayla said every medical sign says the paralysis is real. So Thursday is a wife’s eyes against the charts, and the man listening is the father of Joy’s baby.

Viewers watched Joy, alone, hop out of bed on September 28 to grab her phone and scramble back under the covers. On October 7 she wiggled her toes and feet when nobody was in the room. On October 9 she got up out of her chair to tend to baby Kelsey just as Stephanie was opening the door. Joy is hiding that she can move her legs, and nobody in Salem has proof of it yet.

Is Stephanie onto something, or is she seeing what she wants to see? Write to our editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com and tell us.

Joy Turns on the Charm for Her Trainer

Tate came into this through a referral from Sarah Horton on October 7. He is an exercise trainer for Joy’s upper body and the wheelchair, not her physical therapist, and he promised they would have her walking in no time. That first meeting went Joy’s way, which is how she slipped past Tate Black the first time. When she came home on October 9, Kayla’s discharge plan put strength training with Tate on the calendar, and Alex told her she would be out of the chair soon if she kept it up.

Now look at who Joy picks to flirt with. Tate’s whole job is watching how her body moves, which makes him the one man in town most likely to notice a leg doing more than it should. He is also taken. He and Holly Jonas were trading kisses between her self-defense lessons as recently as September 30. My gut tells me Joy is playing with fire in the one room where she can least afford a spark.

Is Stephanie Asking Tate to Spy on Joy on Days of Our Lives?

Not on Thursday, as far as the published grid goes. Circulating spoiler chatter says Stephanie may ask Tate to tell her if he sees anything suspicious, and that Joy flirts to stir up jealousy or to keep Tate from noticing what she is hiding. The day’s previews say none of that. They have Stephanie Johnson talking to Alex, not Tate, and they give Joy no reason for the flirting at all.

Could it still happen down the line? Reading between the lines, Stephanie Johnson would be smart to recruit the one person who watches Joy train. But she and Tate have no history of trading secrets. The only thing linking them on screen is the day Tate apologized to Joy for lashing out at her about Stephanie and Alex. If Stephanie wants an inside man, she has to build that bridge first.

Also on Thursday’s Days of Our Lives Spoilers

The rest of Thursday’s spoiler slate runs warmer. Mason Whitfield and Holly bond after a rocky start. He blamed her for what he believed was Sophia’s suicide, then on Monday he apologized, told her about his late friend Joaquin and offered her a spot volunteering at the hotline where he works, with Marlena teaching and Mason mentoring. Holly promised to think about it. Thursday they grow closer.

Maggie Kiriakis offers Julie Williams some advice, though nobody is saying about what. Maggie has plenty on her mind after Tuesday, when a text from the mansion buyer’s broker said the buyer wants out of the contract. And Abe Carver and his son, Theo Carver, prepare to honor Theo’s mother, Lexie Carver, who died on August 21. Chanel and Johnny already gave their baby girl the middle name Alexandra for Lexie, with Theo’s blessing. How Abe and Theo mark her this time has not been spoiled.

Team Stephanie or Team Kayla: did that leg move or not? Tell us in the comments.

Joy Picked the Worst Possible Man to Flirt With

Our take: Stephanie Johnson is right to go to Alex, and she should not expect him to love hearing it. Alex already told Joy on Monday that the living arrangement is not going to work, and he wants her in a place of her own as soon as possible. A wife saying she thinks she saw a leg move gives him one more reason. Kayla’s charts give him a reason to doubt it.

Joy, meanwhile, is flirting with the one man paid to watch her train, and he has a girlfriend. Who figures her out first: Stephanie, Tate or Holly? Pick a side and argue it out with us on our Facebook page.
