Lisa Rinna Destroys Robert Kelker-Kelly in New Book, Calls Days of Our Lives Set “A Living Hell”
Lisa Rinna names Robert Kelker-Kelly as Hollywood’s biggest bully in her explosive new memoir. The Days of Our Lives co-stars won Hottest Couple while she endured a living hell.

LISA RINNA EXPOSES ROBERT KELKER-KELLY AS HOLLYWOOD’S BIGGEST BULLY IN EXPLOSIVE NEW MEMOIR
TL;DR: Lisa Rinna‘s explosive new memoir names Days of Our Lives co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly as the biggest bully in Hollywood, accusing him of verbal abuse, manipulation, and mind games on set. NBC reportedly gave both Rinna and Kristian Alfonso full-time security after his sudden departure from the show.
The Bo and Billie Illusion Just Shattered
Lisa Rinna just dropped a bomb that’s going to make every Days of Our Lives fan rethink one of the most iconic love stories in the show’s history. In her brand new memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, the actress accuses her former co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly of being the biggest bully in Hollywood. Not reality TV. Not the Housewives. Her Days of Our Lives leading man.
Rinna played Billie Reed on the show from 1992 to 1995, starring opposite Kelker-Kelly’s Bo Brady. On screen, they sizzled. They even won Hottest Soap Couple at the 1995 Soap Opera Digest Awards. But behind the cameras? Lisa Rinna says it was a completely different story. She describes Kelker-Kelly as verbally abusive, passive-aggressive, and manipulative. Someone who played weird mind games and used the silent treatment as a weapon whenever she didn’t do what he wanted.
And here’s what makes it even worse. Rinna had to film love scenes with this man on a daily basis, often half naked, while allegedly dealing with behavior she calls exhausting and unpredictable. She says she never knew which version of him was going to show up each morning. Nice Robert or dark Robert. That’s not a workplace. That’s survival mode. She called him a ticking time bomb, and honestly? Based on everything she’s describing, that sounds about right.

NBC Knew Enough to Hire Security
When Kelker-Kelly abruptly vanished from the Days set in 1995, the network didn’t just replace him and move on. NBC provided full-time security details for both Lisa Rinna and co-star Kristian Alfonso, who played Hope Brady. Guards were parked outside their homes and trailers for three straight weeks. Both women were driven to and from work every single day. Rinna says she wasn’t personally worried about physical harm, but NBC clearly felt the situation required serious action. That level of response from a major network tells you this wasn’t a small personality clash.
Alfonso and Rinna reportedly had each other’s backs during those years. Rinna wrote that all the women on Days looked out for one another, which says everything about what the working environment must have been like for anyone stuck in Kelker-Kelly’s orbit. When your entire female cast is bonding over how to survive one co-star, something is deeply wrong. And let’s not forget, at the time the show described his exit as being for “creative reasons.” Kelker-Kelly himself chalked it up to “artistic differences.” Reading between the lines now, those corporate excuses feel a whole lot thinner than they did thirty years ago.
The Legacy of Bo and Billie Will Never Look the Same
Peter Reckell, who originally created the role of Bo Brady from 1983 to 1992, returned to replace Kelker-Kelly after his departure. Lisa Rinna left the show later that same year and was eventually replaced by Krista Allen. But here’s the thing. Rinna went on to reprise Billie Reed multiple times over the decades, returning in 2002, 2012, 2018, and even for the Beyond Salem spinoff. She clearly loved the character. What she didn’t love was the man she had to share those iconic scenes with.
Could this memoir open the floodgates for other actors to share their own experiences from that era? Don’t be surprised if more names and more stories start surfacing now that Rinna has broken the seal. Alfonso got the same security detail, which means she’s sitting on her own version of events. And with NBC flat-out refusing to comment, the silence from that network is louder than anything in this book. Something tells me the real Bo and Billie story is just getting started.
