Stefano’s ring, the one EJ has been wearing like he earned it, was always supposed to be passed to whichever child proved most willing to do what the Phoenix actually did. Kristen is going to take that ring off EJ’s hand and slide it onto her own.

And once that ring is on her finger, every DiMera deal of the last forty years becomes hers to revisit.

And Marlena Evans will be the woman who unwittingly handed her the keys.
