Who Is Owen Kent And Why We Should Be PANICKING
Owen Kent was a seemingly innocent Kiriakis gardener back in 2009 who got caught up in the never-ending DiMera versus Kiriakis war. When Victor Kiriakis kidnapped Stefano DiMera, EJ DiMera ordered Owen to kidnap Stephanie Johnson. Simple revenge kidnapping, right? WRONG.
Owen took Stephanie to his father’s mortuary and held her hostage by keeping her in one of the MORGUE DRAWERS. Let that sink. This man stuffed Stephanie Johnson into a body drawer like she was a corpse. But here’s where things got even more disturbing: as time went on and he was supposed to turn Stephanie over to EJ, Owen changed his mind. He became completely obsessed with her and decided he wanted her to run away with him instead.
Stephanie tried to play along, but every time she tried to run, Owen would overpower her and drag her back. This guy is unhinged in the worst possible way.

How Owen Kent Was Caught And Then ESCAPED
Melanie Jonas figured out that Owen had taken Stephanie when she remembered finding Stephanie’s earring on the patio where Owen had been working late. Stephanie was rescued, Owen was arrested and everything seemed resolved.
Except it WASN’T. While Owen was being transferred to prison, the transport vehicle was hijacked and Owen ESCAPED. He vanished into thin air and Stephanie lives in fear that Owen would return for her someday.

The Evidence That Owen Kent Is Stephanie’s Current Stalker
Stephanie has been receiving disturbing letters from someone claiming to be a fan of her book. Alex Kiriakis was so concerned about one particularly creepy letter that he handed it over to Steve Johnson to investigate. Then things escalated FAST.
Someone tried to stab Alex on Halloween but only sliced his coat. When that didn’t work, the stalker apparently poisoned Alex’s soda. DAYS spoilers suggest Owen is behind both attacks because Alex is dating the woman Owen is obsessed with.
The winter promo shows Stephanie being kidnapped, and Steve Johnson grabbing a man in a black hoodie. Eagle-eyed fans spotted Wes Ramsey’s face in that split-second scene, confirming Owen’s return.
Is Jeremy Horton Working WITH Owen Kent?
Everyone in Salem currently suspects Jeremy Horton is stalking Stephanie. Jeremy is Stephanie’s abusive ex-boyfriend who once tried to DROWN her in a bathtub. Stephanie and Alex both believe Jeremy is the one who outed her pseudonym as romance author Anastasia Sands.
But spoilers suggest Jeremy might be a red herring. What if Owen has been framing Jeremy this entire time? Or what if Jeremy and Owen are WORKING TOGETHER?
