Days Of Our Lives
DAYS WILD SPECULATION! Stephanie Johnson Loaded the Gun Steve Told Her NOT to Load and the List of People She Might Shoot Is Unhinged!
Stephanie loaded the gun Steve told her not to load and stashed it in a drawer. Joy, Jeremy, or Alex Kiriakis? Who does Stephanie Johnson shoot?

STEPHANIE JOHNSON WILL PULL THAT TRIGGER. WHO WILL FALL?
TL;DR: Stephanie Johnson loaded the gun her father gave her on Thursday’s Days of Our Lives, broke every safety rule Steve walked her through, and stashed the loaded weapon in a desk drawer where the writers will not stop pointing the camera. The shot is coming. The only question is whether it lands on Joy Wesley, Jeremy Horton, or Alex Kiriakis himself, and every option ends a marriage.
The Gun Is Going Off. The Only Question Is Who Catches the Bullet.
Steve Johnson handed Stephanie a gun on Thursday’s episode of Days of Our Lives. He went over the safety lecture twice. The rules was simple. Keep the ammunition outside the gun. Keep the gun inside the locked case. He had not even cleared the front door of her apartment before Stephanie Johnson loaded the chamber and stashed the weapon in a desk drawer.
The gun keeps coming up on screen. Salem keeps name-dropping that loaded weapon in the way only soaps name-drop loaded weapons that fire. Stephanie is going to shoot somebody. The only real question left is who is on the receiving end. We are three terrifying options.

Scenario One. Stephanie Johnson Shoots Joy Wesley
Scenario one. Stephanie Johnson shoots Joy Wesley. Joy first appeared on Friday. By next week, Salem will know she’s not alone. With her his the daughter Alex Kiriakis never knew he had. Stephanie is going to come unglued. Joy lied to her face last March when she said she was not pregnant. Then Joy disappeared. Now she’s back, Kelsey is in a stroller, and Stephanie has a loaded gun in a desk drawer. If Joy shows up at Stephanie’s apartment to have it out, the worst possible accident is one finger twitch away. And if Stephanie ends Joy in a moment of pure panic, the back half of the storyline writes itself. Alex and Stephanie raise Kelsey. The woman who tried to take Stephanie’s husband leaves Salem in a body bag, and Stephanie spends the rest of the year raising her ghost. Unhinged. Operatic. Completely on brand for Salem.
Scenario Two. Stephanie Accidentally Shoots Jeremy Horton
Scenario two. Stephanie accidentally shoots Jeremy Horton. Michael Roark’s last airdate as Jeremy is Wednesday, April 29. The actor is leaving. The show needs an exit, and Jeremy keeps misreading moments with Stephanie. He has been waiting for a crack in her marriage since the kidnapping ordeal, and this week’s spoilers say he is going to misread her again. Picture the setup. Jeremy comes to her apartment uninvited. Stephanie is alone, jumpy, post traumatic, and armed. She hears the door, she hears footsteps, she does not see his face, she fires. Jeremy Horton goes down. The actor exits the canvas. Stephanie has officially crossed a line she cannot uncross. She will be heartbroken. And every Horton in Salem will be coming for her.
Scenario Three. Stephanie Accidentally Shoots Alex Kiriakis
Scenario three. Stephanie accidentally shoots Alex, her own husband. This one is the cruelest. Alex is going to get blindsided by Joy and a baby. He is going to spend the rest of the week running between his new messy reality. Coming home late. Letting himself in quietly because his wife is finally sleeping after a year of post traumatic insomnia. Stephanie wakes up to footsteps in the dark. The drawer is right there. The gun is loaded. The marriage Alex has been fighting to put back together ends with a single misread shot. Alex survives, because Salem rarely actually kills its leading men, but the marriage does not. Stephanie Johnson would not survive that emotionally. Not after everything she has already endured.
The Smart Money and the Bigger Swing
Here is what makes the gun storyline pop. The writers have planted it in nearly every Stephanie scene since Steve showed up. They are not going to let that gun stay in the drawer. The only question is which scenario gives them the most damage per pulled trigger.
If we had to bet, the smart money is on Jeremy. Roark’s last day lines up. The accident gets Jeremy off canvas without the show needing to send him to New York with snacks from Julie.
If the show wants the bigger swing, though, it is Joy. Killing Joy Wesley in the same week she returns gives Alex and Stephanie a baby to raise, a marriage to save, and a soap opera classic of a guilt arc to live with for the rest of the year.
Place your bets in the comments. Joy, Jeremy, or Alex? Who does Stephanie Johnson accidentally shoot?
