AMBER SINCLAIR HAS WATCHED ALL FIVE SOAPS THIS WEEK AND PATTY WILLIAMS IS WALKING FREE

TL;DR: Patty Williams got a clean bill of mental health while still on Victor Newman’s payroll, Theo Carver left his steamy dream journal open in public, Will Spencer and Electra Forrester recapped the letter situation for three straight days, Phyllis Summers had a screaming match with her own portrait, Eric Forrester watched his designs walk down a Logan runway from his own couch, Vanessa Hartman printed a fake selfie to plant in her boyfriend’s condo, and Liesl Obrecht declined a plane ticket to go save Anna Devane on The Young and the RestlessDays of Our LivesThe Bold and the BeautifulBeyond the Gates, and General Hospital. Amber Sinclair has watched all of it so you did not have to. You are welcome.

The Audacity Award: Patty Williams’ Doctors

Patty Williams finished a paid seduction job on a moving yacht, walked back into Genoa City, taunted Diane Jenkins at the club, taunted Phyllis Summers at the staircase, and casually mentioned she had received a clean bill of mental healthand was free to stay in town as long as she wanted.

A team of licensed mental health professionals signed off on this. In writing. With their names attached. While Patty was actively employed by Victor Newman as a seduction weapon.

The trophy goes to whichever doctor signed the form. We have questions.

Okay But WHY Though: Theo Carver Leaves His Journal Open in Public

Theo Carver sat outside the Pub journaling about his steamy G dreams featuring Gabi DiMera. Then he got up to walk away. Then he left the journal open. Under a menu. On the table. Where Gabi was already walking up.

This is the same Theo who once told Marlena Evans he did not want to journal at all because someone might read it. Sir. What was the plan.

Snooze Button: Will Spencer and Electra Forrester Recap the Letter for Three Days

Will Spencer and Electra Forrester spent Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday standing in the showroom recapping the Ivy Forrester letter situation to each other. Then they recapped it to themselves. Then they recapped it again. By Thursday they had finally caught up to where the audience was on Monday. The Bold and the Beautiful, everybody.

The Ick Factor: Phyllis Summers Argues With Her Own Portrait

Phyllis Summers lost her entire executive team in one morning of email notifications, lost her kids to her own choices, and ended the week pacing in her empty office screaming at her own oil portrait. She told the painting Victor would not get away with this. Then she came back later and confessed to the painting that she might be in trouble.

Ma’am the painting is not going to answer. Ma’am we are right here. Sit down.

Unexpectedly Obsessed: Eric Forrester Watches the Logan Runway From Forrester’s Couch

Eric Forrester designed a full collection for Katie Logan Spencer‘s new fashion house. Then he sat down at Forrester to watch the show on a livestream with Brooke Logan and Ridge Forrester. Then he watched his own dresses walk down a Logan runway and groaned, “What have I done?!”

The man designed a hit. The man also grieved his own choices live on his couch. Ricardo Montalban could never. We need this energy in every Eric scene from now on.

The Dragging: Vanessa Hartman

Vanessa Hartman walked into Joey Armstrong‘s condo this week, took selfies with him, downloaded the photos to his printer, framed one, and called it a statement that says she belongs there and is there to stay.

Ma’am. Ma’am that is not a statement. That is a hostage situation in an 8×10. The man tried to leave the room. Vanessa Hartman my beloved and unhinged, please.

This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things: Liesl Obrecht

Liesl Obrecht sat across from Felicia Scorpio at the Metro Court Garden, listened to her beg for a flight to France to help save Anna Devane, and politely declined. She had concerns. She had reasoning. She had a perfectly logical argument about why her presence might make things worse.

Ma’am Anna is in a French sanitarium screaming about Faison. We did not need a strategy session. We needed you on a plane.
