STEPHANIE JOHNSON RUNS FROM ALEX STRAIGHT INTO THEO CARVER’S GRIEF

TL;DR: Stephanie Johnson fights with Alex again and lands on Theo’s shoulder Wednesday, and the consoling may not stay innocent. Cat fishes for what EJ remembers, Roman helps Abe honor Lexie, and Shawn plans a big night for Jada on Days of Our Lives.

A Bad Fight, a Worse Week, and Theo Right There

Days of Our Lives spoilers August 26 2026 put a married woman and a grieving man in the same room, and Salem never wastes that setup. Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) has another serious blowup with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) on Wednesday. This time the word divorce comes out of her mouth. She does not say it to Alex. She says it to Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews).

Theo is in no shape to play marriage counselor. He watched his mother, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford), die on Friday, and he spent Monday reading her farewell letters with his father. The man is drowning. Stephanie knows it, and she goes to him anyway.

Circulating spoiler chatter says their attempt to console each other could tip into passionate territory. Nobody has confirmed a kiss. But the show planted this last Thursday, when Stephanie hugged Theo at the nurses’ station while Alex, fresh from comforting Joy, stood in the hallway and watched. He walked away. That image is going to matter, and you can follow the whole custody mess through the Days of Our Lives storyline archive if you need the backstory.

How Stephanie Johnson Ended Up on Jada’s Couch

The marriage did not crack overnight. Alex and Stephanie married on February 12, and by late July they were at war with Joy over baby Kelsey. Kelsey’s birth certificate was changed to Kiriakis, and Joy demanded that Stephanie be kept away from the child for eighteen years. Alex said no to that. He did not say no to the next request.

When Joy collapsed on August 7 and Kayla diagnosed spinal stenosis, Alex stayed by her bed. Three days later Stephanie packed a bag and moved in with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) so Alex could bring Kelsey home. She gave up her apartment for a woman who wants her erased. Two weeks on, the two-week spoiler outlook shows Alex still choosing Joy’s recovery over his wife’s patience, and Wednesday is where that patience runs out.

Do Stephanie and Theo Hook Up on Days of Our Lives?

Nothing on the record says they do, at least not on Wednesday. The confirmed beat is that Stephanie Johnson turns to Theo after Alex upsets her, and the spoiler chatter frames anything more as a question. Read it as a warning, not a promise.

There is no history here to rekindle, and that is the point. Stephanie’s romances run through Max, Philip, Chad and Alex. Theo’s run through Ciara, Claire and Gabi, and Salem usually sends a lonely spouse back to an old flame; this would be a brand-new couple built out of grief and spite. And the writers scheduled Alex’s make-up move for Thursday, when he drops Kelsey with Bonnie to get alone time with his wife. If Stephanie has something to hide by then, that dinner is a landmine.

Cat Fishes, Roman Helps, and Shawn Plans a Night to Remember

Across town, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) has a problem she created herself. Under hypnosis Monday she remembered confessing her ISA status to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) years ago while he lay in a coma at an Italian clinic. Wednesday she goes fishing to learn how much he kept. She has to do it without tipping him off, and EJ notices everything. If he remembers even a fragment, her whole investigation is done.

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) wants to honor Lexie properly, and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) steps in to help him do it. Roman is Stephanie’s uncle, which means the Brady and Carver grief will share a table this week. Nobody has said what the tribute is yet, so anyone naming a memorial is guessing.

Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) frets over Belle Black (Martha Madison) and her Italy plans with Chad. And Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) cooks up a romantic evening for Jada, dinner and surprises included. One couple gets candlelight. Stephanie Johnson gets a grieving man and a bad decision waiting to happen. Don’t be surprised if the writers cut straight from Shawn’s dinner to Theo’s front door.

Should Stephanie walk away from Theo, or has Alex already ended this marriage himself? Leave your verdict in the comments below the article.

Alex Broke This Marriage First and Stephanie Is About to Finish It

Let’s be honest about the order of events. Alex moved his ex and his baby into the home his wife vacated, then let the phone calls from Joy’s bedside pile up. Stephanie has been living on a friend’s couch for two weeks. Leaning on Theo is not a plan; it is what happens when a person runs out of doors.

That said, Theo buried his mother five days ago, and if a kiss happens on his end of the couch, the blame gets messier. My gut tells me Theo pulls back first and Stephanie spends Thursday’s date night lying through her teeth. Tell us who you blame on our Facebook page.
