THE BONES GET IDENTIFIED TUESDAY AND WE THINK VIVIAN PULLED THE ULTIMATE SWITCH

TL;DR: The bones in the DiMera crypt get identified on Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives, and we have a terrifying theory. What if Vivian Alamain planted JAKE’s bones so everyone would believe Stefan is dead โ€” when he’s actually alive in Alamania?

Stay With Us Here

We need you to put on your tinfoil hats for this one because we’re about to blow your mind.

On Tuesday, the bones found in the Days of Our Lives DiMera crypt are finally identified. We know these bones belong to a male who has been dead somewhere between one and ten years. Vivian Alamain claims Stefan died in October when Jake’s heart gave out, but she waited three months to file the death certificate. Eli Grant and Rafe Hernandez are traveling to Alamania this week to question her and confirm Stefan’s death.

But what if those bones DON’T belong to Stefan? What if they belong to JAKE?

This theory is UNHINGED and we need to know if you’re with us! Write in to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com!

Jake and Stefan Were Twins

Here’s why this theory works: Jake and Stefan DiMera were identical twins.

If those bones get tested, they’re going to come back as a DiMera male. The DNA would match the DiMera family line. And since Vivian has been screaming from the rooftops that Stefan is dead, everyone is going to assume those bones are his.

But Jake died back in 2022. That fits the timeline of “dead between one and ten years” PERFECTLY.

What if Vivian Alamain dug up Jake’s remains โ€” or had them shipped to Salem โ€” and planted them in that crypt? When the identification comes back as a DiMera male, everyone will say “See? Stefan really is dead.” Case closed. Gabi gets her closure. Rafe stops asking questions. Except Stefan isn’t dead at all. He’s in Alamania with mommy dearest, pulling strings from afar.

Vivian Would Absolutely Do This

Let’s be clear: this is EXACTLY something Vivian Alamain would do.

This is the woman who buried Carly Manning alive. This is the woman who has faked deaths, switched babies, and committed crimes we’ve lost count of. Digging up one son’s bones to protect her other son? That’s a light Tuesday for Vivian.

And remember โ€” Jake’s heart is literally inside Stefan. When Vivian says “Jake’s heart gave out,” she could be telling a twisted version of the truth. Jake’s heart DID give out… but Stefan survived. And now Jake’s bones are being used to sell the lie.

The Crypt Camera Changes Everything

Here’s the detail that makes this theory even more chilling: the FBI traced the hidden crypt camera signal directly to Alamania. To Vivian.

Someone has been WATCHING that crypt. Someone wanted to know the moment those bones were discovered. Someone needed to make sure the plan went off without a hitch. If Vivian planted Jake’s bones, she would absolutely want eyes on that crypt to see when they were found and how Salem reacted. She’s not just hiding Stefan โ€” she’s orchestrating this entire thing from overseas.

What Does This Mean for Gabi?

Gabi told Rafe she wants closure last week on Days of Our Lives. She thanked him for going to Alamania to confirm Stefan’s death so she can finally move on with Philip.

But what happens when those bones are identified and everyone tells her “It’s Stefan, he’s really gone”… and then months later, Stefan walks back into Salem very much alive? Gabi would be DEVASTATED. She would have grieved, moved on, maybe even married Philip โ€” all based on a lie Vivian constructed using Jake’s bones.

This is the kind of long-game manipulation that Vivian lives for. And we are genuinely scared it’s happening.

Do you think Vivian planted Jake’s bones? Is Stefan alive and hiding in Alamania? This theory is WILD and we need your thoughts!
