GH SUPER SPOILER! Ava Jerome Is Quietly Playing Jenz Sidwell Like a Fiddle, and Nobody in Port Charles Sees It
General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome talked Sidwell out of reading Marco’s autopsy. The long con of the year is on, and it’s GLORIOUS.

AVA JEROME IS RUNNING THE SOAPIEST LONG CON THIS CANVAS HAS SEEN IN YEARS
TL;DR: While Jenz Sidwell tears Port Charles apart hunting Marco’s killer, Ava Jerome has been sitting next to him on the Wyndemere parapet running a quiet long con. She talked him out of reading Marco’s autopsy TWICE this week. She handed him a phantom Miami stalker theory to steer the investigation away from her own nephew, Lucas Jones. She has been embedding in his life since March. Sidwell is going to lose his empire to the woman pouring his tea.
Stop Sleeping on Ava Jerome
While Jenz Sidwell has been tearing Port Charles apart trying to find his son’s killer, the woman sitting next to him on the Wyndemere parapet has been quietly running the soapiest long con this canvas has seen in years. Ava Jerome is not Sidwell’s grieving friend. She is not his rebound. She is Lucas Jones’s aunt, and she is playing Jenz like a fiddle while Port Charles is looking elsewhere.
Watch the receipts. They are stacked sky-high and the show has been hiding them in plain sight.

Ava Talked Sidwell Out of Reading the Autopsy. Twice.
Tuesday’s General Hospital handed us the clearest play yet. Sidwell received Marco’s autopsy from Pascal. He sat down with it. He was ready to read it. Then Ava Jerome arrived. She sat with him. She told him not to look. She invoked Kiki. She said it would not bring Marco back.
Sidwell hesitated. She left for an appointment. She told him again on her way out, do not look at the autopsy. By the next scene, Sidwell was handing the file to Pascal to lock in the safe.
A woman who has been processing her own daughter’s death for years knows exactly what to say to a grieving father to keep him from opening a document. Ava knew that document might point at Lucas, and she made sure Sidwell never opened it.
Then She Handed Him a Brand-New Suspect Profile
Here is the brilliant part. Ava did not refuse to talk about the murder. She gave Sidwell a fully formed alternative theory wrapped in a bow. Someone in Marco’s life felt passionately about him. Someone whose feelings were not returned. Someone in Miami, where Marco lived before. Someone who saw Marco and Lucas happy and got pushed over the edge.
That is not grief counseling. That is misdirection delivered like therapy.
She gave Sidwell a phantom Miami stalker, kept Lucas out of the line of fire, and made the pivot feel like emotional generosity. The PCPD already thinks the killer was someone close to Marco. Ava Jerome expanded the suspect pool from Port Charles to the entire state of Florida, with a side note that her own nephew is “a doctor and isn’t capable of taking a life.”
That phrase was the tell. Nobody who is not already worried about being suspected feels the need to defend the suspect.
Ava Has Been Embedding for Months
The “her at Wyndemere all the time” energy is not accidental. They kissed in March. She comforted him through Marco’s death the same week. She was the one Sidwell ran to when he collapsed sobbing over his son. He told her in April that he had shared confidences with her he normally would not, and asked her not to make him regret it.
She has not made him regret it yet. She has only made him need her more. Sonny himself clocked the pattern weeks ago when he warned Ric that Ava was “in bed with Sidwell” and meant it as a threat, not gossip.
Ava does not do casual. She did not do casual with Sonny. She did not do casual with Nikolas. She does proximity, intimacy, and then power. Sidwell is in stage two and has no idea stage three is coming.
The Coup Could Be Three Different Things at Once
Now for the unhinged speculation. Ava Jerome could be playing this multiple ways at once, because she is Ava and that is the brand.
Option one is the simplest. She is protecting Lucas. Marco’s killer is unknown, the PCPD is sniffing around, and her nephew has motive and opportunity. Ava is keeping Sidwell looking everywhere but at the person of interest in their own household.
Option two is the long game. Ava wants Wyndemere back. She wants Spoon Island. She wants the Cassadine and Sidwell empire wrapped in a bow. The closer she gets, the better positioned she is when Sidwell falls.
Option three is the unhinged one. She is working with someone. Maybe Sonny. Maybe Lucy Coe, who Sonny told to make her move on Sidwell “before Ava.” Maybe a third party we have not seen yet.
Sidwell Will Lose to the Woman Pouring His Tea
The dread is delicious. Sidwell is hunting the wrong people, opening the wrong leads, and confiding in the only person in that house actively steering him into a wall. Pascal serves the tea. Ava picks the topic. Sidwell drinks both.
Bring popcorn. The grieving mobster is going to wake up one day to find his empire has been quietly mortgaged by the woman who told him not to read his son’s autopsy. When it happens, she will already be on a yacht, on the way to her next play on General Hospital.

Where Ava is concerned no one never knows what she is actually up to. Of course she would do anything she could to protect Lucas. There is also the possibility she would want Wyndemere back. It will definitely be interesting to see where the story is going as far as Ava’s getting close to Sidwell.
