Britt Westbourne Is About to Lose the Only Man Keeping Her Alive on General Hospital and the Fallout Could Be Fatal
Britt Westbourne looks free on General Hospital but her medication is a leash. Jason is leaving. We have wild theories about what comes next. (

JASON MORGAN IS LEAVING AND BRITT WESTBOURNE IS BEING LEFT WITH THE MEN WHO OWN HER MEDICATION ON GH — SO WHO SAVES HER NOW?
TL;DR: Steve Burton is stepping away from General Hospital until the summer, which means Jason Morgan is gone and Britt Westbourne is alone with the men who control her medication and her life. We have wild theories about who steps up, who screws up, and who might not survive it.
Jason Morgan Is Leaving and Britt Has Never Been More Vulnerable
Steve Burton is stepping away from General Hospital until the summer. Jason Morgan is leaving Port Charles. And the woman he was supposed to save? She is still walking in and out of the Wyndemere catacombs every day, completing her dead father’s cold fusion project for men who will cut off her Huntington’s medication the second she stops being useful.
Britt Westbourne is not locked in a dungeon. She goes to work at the hospital. She hands out paternity test results. She grabs drinks with Brad and sticks him with the bill. She walks freely through Port Charles looking like a woman with a normal life.
But she is not free. The medication keeping her Huntington’s in check is controlled by Jenz Sidwell and WSB Director Ross Cullum — the same men who faked her death, shipped her to Croatia, and dragged her back to finish what Cesar Faison started. Sidwell murdered Dalton in front of her to show her what disobedience looks like. Cullum threatened to throw Rocco into Steinmauer. And today, Marco delivered her medication and stood over her while she injected it, because even the act of keeping herself alive is something they supervise now.
Jason had the exit strategy. Brick was going to reverse-engineer the medication so Britt could walk away without a death sentence attached. Sonny agreed to hold off on Cullum until the supply was secure. That was the plan. And now that plan is packing its bags for the summer.
So what happens to Britt Westbourne when nobody is working to get her out?

Lucas Jones Is Playing a Very Dangerous Game
Lucas overheard Marco tell Sidwell everything — Britt coming in and out of the catacombs, the medication now stored at Wyndemere, the terms of her servitude. He went home to Liz today and said the Marco he overheard is not the man he fell in love with. Liz looked him dead in the eye and told him Wyndemere is not safe and he needs to move out.
He did not move out. He went right back to that island and found Marco in the turret making a phone call about Sonny.
That is not a man retreating to safety. That is a man digging in. And we think with Jason gone, Lucas becomes the person closest to Britt’s situation who can actually do something about it. He is a doctor. He is living in the house where her medication is kept. He understands what happens to a Huntington’s patient who gets cut off cold.
The problem is Pascal. Sidwell’s loyal little shadow was lurking right behind Lucas when he overheard that conversation. Which means Lucas is not operating in secret the way he thinks he is. He is one report away from becoming a liability, and Sidwell does not keep liabilities around. He removes them.
Carly Is Not Going to Sit This One Out
Carly patched things up with Lucas to get a foothold on Spoon Island. She knows about the lab because she overheard Brennan and Britt discussing it. Valentin has been coaching her on how to dig deeper into Sidwell’s operation. And she told Valentin the door is now open for future visits to Wyndemere.
With Jason gone, Carly is going to accelerate. That is who she is. She is going to push her way onto that island, talk her way past Marco’s suspicion, and eventually find those catacombs. And when she does, she and Britt Westbourne are going to have the most reluctant, combative, spectacular alliance this show has seen in years — two women who cannot stand each other, forced to work together because the man they both love left town.
Sonny Without Jason Is the Scariest Theory of All
Jason told Sonny to wait. Do not move on Cullum until the medication is secured. But Sonny Corinthos without Jason whispering patience in his ear is a man who shoots first and strategizes never. Brick already connected Cullum to the slush fund that paid for the assassination attempt and the fire-bombing. Sonny has been itching to make a move.
If he takes out Cullum before anyone replicates that medication, he does not save Britt. He kills her. Slowly. Because Cullum is the gatekeeper, and you do not destroy the gatekeeper before you steal the keys.
That is the kind of devastating, good-intentioned catastrophe Sonny was born to create. And Britt Westbourne would pay the price for it with her life.
