Jenz Sidwell Murdered a Man Right in Front of Her
On November 19, 2025, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) pulled out a gun and shot Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) dead at Wyndemere. And Britt was standing right there watching it happen.
This wasn’t some accident. This wasn’t self-defense. This was an execution — and Sidwell made sure Britt saw every second of it. Why? Because Dalton had become a “liability” to the mysterious operation Sidwell is running out of the Cassadine castle. The message couldn’t have been clearer: be useful, or be next.
Now here’s where it gets really terrifying. After murdering the guy who was running his lab, Sidwell decided to put Britt in charge instead. That’s not a promotion. That’s a death sentence with a delay. Sidwell didn’t spare Britt because he’s merciful — he spared her because she’s valuable. She has the medical expertise. She has the connections. She has access to whatever “Faison’s final project” actually is.
But the second Britt Westbourne stops being useful? She ends up in a shallow grave right next to Dalton.

Brennan wants intel from Sidwell’s lab. He wants Britt to spy on the man who just executed someone in front of her. He’s treating her medical career like a bargaining chip, and if she doesn’t deliver? He can take away everything she fought to get back.
The WSB is supposed to protect people. Instead, Brennan is using Britt as an expendable asset in his shadow war with Sidwell. He doesn’t care if she gets caught. He doesn’t care if Sidwell finds out she’s a double agent. He just wants results.

Here’s the detail that makes this situation truly hopeless: Britt can’t go to the police. Not because she’s afraid of Sidwell’s reach — although she should be — but because there’s something deeply wrong with “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) at the PCPD.
Recent episodes have shown Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) noticing that “Nathan” made a critical procedural error — breaking the chain of custody on evidence. For a seasoned detective like Nathan, that’s an impossible mistake. It’s the kind of error that suggests whoever is walking around the PCPD might have Nathan’s face but not his memories.
If the “Faison’s final project” theories are correct, Britt’s own brother might be compromised. She literally cannot trust anyone in law enforcement to help her.
Jason Morgan Might Be Her Only Way Out
So who does that leave? Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Jason operates outside the institutional constraints that are trapping Britt. He can’t be blackmailed by Brennan because he has no career to threaten. Sidwell can’t leverage Jason’s family the way he leverages everyone else because Jason’s loved ones are already protected by the Corinthos organization.
More importantly, Jason and Britt have history. Their 2021 storyline established a deep emotional bond forged while they were both on the run. Jason understands what it’s like to be hunted. He understands what it’s like to have no good options.
And with Jason’s son Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) connected to the teen break-in at Wyndemere, Jason now has a personal stake in whatever Sidwell is doing on Spoon Island. The pieces are falling into place for Jason to realize just how much danger Britt is in — and to do what he does best: extract someone from an impossible situation.
One Slip Could Get Her Killed
The January 8th episode ended with Britt making a critical “slip of the tongue” in front of hostile actors. The details are still unfolding, but the implication is clear: her double life is starting to crack. If word reaches Sidwell that she’s been feeding intel to Brennan, she won’t get a warning. She’ll get a bullet.
