Willow Tait Really Did That

Someone check on us because we are NOT recovering from Thursday’s General Hospital.

The flashbacks finally came through and they told us EVERYTHING. Willow remembers putting on gloves. Willow remembers stopping her car. Willow remembers pulling out that gun and shooting Drew Cain, the man she supposedly loves so much she blew up her entire life for him. And after reliving every single moment of that crime in her head while sitting on the witness stand? She looked at the jury with those big innocent eyes and lied about ALL of it.

Never touched the gun. Doesn’t remember where she drove. Didn’t stop anywhere that night. LIE. LIE. LIE. And now the ADA thinks Willow may have just saved herself with that testimony. This woman might actually walk out of that courthouse free as a bird after shooting her own husband.

“I Would Do Anything for My Children”

Justine asked Willow what she would do for her kids. Standard question. And as she sat there thinking about her answer, Willow flashed back to SHOOTING DREW. Then she delivered the line with a completely straight face: she would do anything for her children.

Anything! Including shooting the man you just married! Including lying under oath! Including letting everyone believe Michael is the real villain while you sit there playing victim! The RANGE on this woman. Somebody get her an Emmy because she is absolutely performing the role of her life in that courtroom.

Drew Is Still Trash But Even He Didn’t Deserve This

Let’s be extremely clear: nobody is crying for Drew Cain. This is the man who blackmailed Sonny. This is the man with the nursery sex tape scandal. This is the man who screamed on the stand like a lunatic calling Michael a “homicidal maniac” while making the whole trial about himself.

But even Drew doesn’t deserve to be shot by his own wife and then lied to about it every single day. Willow Tait married this man TWICE knowing she pulled the trigger. She kissed him goodnight knowing what she did. She let him destroy every relationship he has defending her honor while she sat on that secret.

Drew and Willow honestly deserve each other. Two terrible people trapped in a marriage built on attempted murder and lies. How romantic.

Everybody Owes Michael an Apology

The entire town of Port Charles needs to line up and BEG Michael Corinthos for forgiveness.

Alexis made him look like a vengeful monster. Drew screamed that he was a homicidal maniac. Nina swooped in to protect poor fragile Willow from big bad Michael. Everyone treated him like the villain when all he was trying to do was protect his children from their mother.

AND HE WAS RIGHT. Michael knew something was off about Willow Tait. He knew she was capable of things nobody wanted to believe. He fought to keep his kids away from her and everyone acted like HE was the problem. Turns out the real problem was sitting in that courtroom playing victim while remembering how she shot her husband in cold blood.

Trina and Kai Are About to Blow This Wide Open

Here’s the part that has us on the edge of our seats. Trina and Kai have been investigating the ringtone they heard the night of the shooting. They tested Michael’s phone when Wiley called him at the courthouse and it didn’t match what they remembered.

But then Wiley called his mommy. And Trina and Kai’s eyes went WIDE. The ringtone matches Willow’s phone. These two are sitting on evidence that could destroy Willow’s entire defense and they don’t even fully realize it yet. When they put the pieces together and bring this to the cops, Willow’s house of lies is going to collapse.

Closing Statements Are Tomorrow

The court recessed with closing statements scheduled for tomorrow. Justine told Dante she thought she could make Willow crack on the stand but she couldn’t pull it off. She thinks Willow may have just saved herself.

But Trina and Kai are sitting on a bomb. And when it goes off, Willow Tait is going to learn that you can’t lie your way out of everything. Even if you do have really good doe eyes.
