GH Spoilers May Sweeps: Britt Westbourne and Lulu Spencer’s War Over Rocco Detonates

Britt Westbourne and Lulu Spencer Are on a Collision Course

The hospital halls have turned into a battlefield. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) just dragged Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) into a chapel corner and screamed in his face about a secret that could get them both killed, and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is one whisper away from finding out every single word of it. This is the May sweeps powder keg nobody saw coming, and the explosion is going to be loud.

What makes it worse? Britt Westbourne carried that boy in her body for nine months as the gestational surrogate. Lulu is his biological mother with Dante. The two women who share Rocco are about to go to war over him, and there is no clean way out of this one for anybody.

Rocco’s Pier 55 Confession Has Britt Spiraling

Let’s recap how we got here. Back on the Pier 55 night, Rocco shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) in the back to stop him from killing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Jason took the fall and got hauled off by the WSB. Britt Westbourne has been holding the truth ever since, and on April 21 in the General Hospital chapel, Rocco confessed everything to her. Her exact words? “If Cullum finds out you shot him, we’re dead.”

Then Britt found out Lulu already knew. Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) knew too. And on April 27, Britt cornered Rocco a second time at GH and went off so loud that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) had to step between them. If you think Lulu is going to let some other woman scream at her son in a hospital corridor and walk away clean, you have not been paying attention to this town.

The Cold Fusion Clock Is Ticking Down

While the Rocco mess is unraveling, Britt Westbourne is racing a second clock. Ross is running phone-based intel ops from his hospital bed and dangling Britt’s Huntington’s medication like a leash. The deal? Finish Cesar Faison’s so-called Cold Fusion prototype on his timetable, or her serum dries up for good. Could this mean Britt is one missed dose from full collapse? My gut tells me she is going to crack from the pressure before May sweeps is over, and when she does, every secret in her pocket comes spilling out with her. The clock is ticking and Britt is alone.

Britt Westbourne Could Drop the Cassius Bombshell at Any Second

Here is the card Britt has not played yet. Cassius is not Nathan West. He is Cassius Faison, Nathan’s long-hidden identical twin, and Britt’s own blood brother. Lulu has no idea she is sleeping with a Faison. Britt already ordered Cassius to break up with Lulu to protect Rocco, and Cassius flat out refused. Don’t be surprised if Britt weaponizes the truth. If Lulu storms her over Rocco, what is stopping Britt from firing back with exactly who Lulu has been kissing?

This has all the makings of the biggest May sweeps blowup of the year. Britt’s loyalty to Rocco versus Lulu’s right to know what is in her own bed. Pick a side, because the writers are about to force you. Reading between the lines, the Wednesday April 29 logline officially has Lulu outraged, and the Thursday April 30 logline officially has Britt spilling a secret. Tell me that timeline is a coincidence.

Sonny Corinthos Walks In on Friday and Everything Changes

And then there is grandpa. ABC has officially confirmed that on Friday May 1, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) seeks out Britt. Reading between the lines, this could be the moment Sonny learns his own grandson pulled the trigger on a WSB director. If I know these writers, Sonny is not going to sit on that information politely. He will move, and he will move hard.

Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is digging into Cassius, Cullum, and Faison’s project as an active WSB agent, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) just officially reopened the Pier 55 shooting case. Britt is surrounded on every side. Something has to give. The only question left is who Britt tells first when it finally does, and what’s left standing when she’s done.
