Whoever gets the news from Alexis on Friday is somebody Port Charles has been rooting for, and a Friday with Alexis smiling is a Friday that lets one or two characters exhale before the next storm hits.

Obrecht Issues A Warning

Liesl Obrecht has watched her son Cassius play “Nathan” West for months, watched her daughter Britt leave town with Rocco to dodge Cullum, and watched the entire Faison legacy threaten to take both her children down. Friday she issues a warning, and the doctor who has survived more attempts on her life than Port Charles can count is not the woman anybody should brush off.

The warning could be aimed in any direction. Cassius is in the middle of a Sidwell operation that could swallow him whole. Cullum is still pulling strings from the WSB. Whoever Obrecht corners on Friday gets the kind of warning that comes with a list of Faison bodies and a mother who has nothing left to lose. Listen or do not, but pretend at your own risk.

Laura Gets A Win

Laura Spencer has spent months under Sidwell’s thumb. He has blackmailed her with the Dalton photos, forced her to play along on policy concessions, and quietly tested how far he can push the mayor before she pushes back. Friday Laura gets a win, and the woman who has been holding Port Charles together through the entire Sidwell siege finally lands a clean one.

The win belongs to her and to the Sonny-Ric operation that has been quietly working the takedown from the other end. Whatever Laura puts on the board on Friday is the kind of move Sidwell did not see coming, and a Mayor Spencer with a victory in her column is a Mayor Spencer reminding Port Charles why she keeps winning these elections. The Sidwell empire just wobbled, and Laura is the one who tipped it.
