BROOK LYNN QUARTERMAINE DID NOT DO THIS AND WE WILL DIE ON THIS HILL

TL;DR: The fandom is blaming Brook Lynn Quartermaine for the Route 91 crash that nearly killed Jordan Ashford on General Hospital and we are here to say absolutely not. Her face changed when Tracy mentioned the accident. She was late to Charlie’s. The timeline works. We get it. But this crash was too clean, too convenient, and too perfectly timed for a woman who was rushing to see her son play guitar. Jenz Sidwell told Jordan to spy on the PCPD or lose everything. She was dragging her feet. What if Route 91 was not an accident but an invoice?

We See You Blaming Brook Lynn and We Need You to Stop

The internet watched Brook Lynn Quartermaine‘s face change when Tracy Quartermaine mentioned being stuck in traffic because of a horrible car accident on Route 91 and collectively decided she did it. She was late to Charlie’s. She missed Gio’s performance. She was on the road that night. Case closed.

We are reopening it.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine was rushing to see her son play guitar at an open mic night. She was distracted, yes. She was late, yes. But a woman in a hurry to see Gio Palmieri perform does not orchestrate a head on collision that sends another car into a guard rail and leaves a woman bleeding from windshield glass. That is not a fender bender caused by distraction. That is a hit. And hits have architects.

Brook Lynn’s face when she heard Route 91 was not guilt. It was recognition. She was on that road. She may have seen something. She may have passed the wreckage. But she did not cause it.

Do you think Brook Lynn Quartermaine is guilty or innocent? Send your wildest theories to [email protected] and we just might publish them!

The Timeline That Everyone Is Ignoring

Jordan Ashford was ordered by Jenz Sidwell to spy on the PCPD and deliver him information about Marco’s murder investigation. She was told that if she did not come through, the comfortable life she had built while working for him would disappear. Jordan told Curtis Ashford that being distracted by Sidwell’s grief might give her the opening she needed to gather evidence against him.

What if Sidwell was not distracted at all? What if he was watching Jordan stall and decided to remind her what happens when people do not deliver?

Picture it. Sidwell picks up the phone. He tells one of his people to send a message. Not kill her. Scare her. Make it look like an accident. Make sure she understands what he is capable of when his patience runs out.

A car appears on Route 91 heading straight for Jordan and Curtis. Jordan swerves. The car explodes. Curtis pulls her out with seconds to spare. And the vehicle that caused it all disappears into the night.

That is not a teenager joyriding. That is a professional making a point.

Sidwell Has the Motive, the Resources, and the History

Sidwell ordered Cassius to kill Britt Westbourne permanently this week. He did not hesitate. He did not soften the language. He looked at a man and told him to murder his own sister because she had become inconvenient.

This is who Jenz Sidwell is. He does not warn. He acts. He told Jordan her life would change if she did not cooperate. Jordan did not cooperate fast enough. And now she is in emergency surgery with internal bleeding near her one kidney while Curtis sits in a hallway telling the police it was a hit and run.

Curtis told Chase that whoever was driving kept going and left them for dead. He does not know who was in that car. He does not know it was teenagers. He does not know Carly erased the evidence. And he certainly does not know that the man who employs his girlfriend may have put the entire thing in motion.

Brook Lynn Knows Something

Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s face on Route 91 was not the face of a woman who caused a crash. It was the face of a woman who drove past one. She saw the wreckage. She saw the flames. She saw what happened on that road and she has been sitting with it since she walked into the Quartermaine living room.

Isaiah Gannon was rattled when Portia Robinson mentioned he was on the road that night too. Tracy was stuck in traffic because of the crash. Brook Lynn’s face told us she knows more than she is saying. The circle of people who are close to this truth is growing and not one of them is talking.

But if this was Sidwell, then Brook Lynn Quartermaine is not guilty. She is a witness. And witnesses, in Sidwell’s world, are problems he solves permanently.

Is Brook Lynn Quartermaine guilty or is Sidwell the one pulling the strings on Route 91? And if Jordan was the target, what does that mean for everyone Sidwell controls? Sound off below because this theory has us absolutely feral!

WATCH THIS: How much longer will Willow get away with this mess?

@soapoperamag How long is GH going to let Willow cause chaos? I LOVE Dark Willow and I truly enjoy her destroying her husband. But, I do have to wonder how much longer she'll get away with all these shenanigans? Another week? Another month? Another year? I may be wrong, but I believe Sidwell is behind the car crash. If Jordan does make it through the accident, I certainly hope she will leave Sidwell’s employ. After all she and Curtis are planning a life together and he has the financial ability to help keep them in the lifestyle Jordan has enjoyed since leaving the Mayor’s Office. Hope Jordan remembers Sidwell’s threat and considers him as a possible cause of the accident. Of course Jordan didn’t mention Sidwell’s threat to Curtis which would be causing problems as he would blame Sidwell and probably go after him. Hope the investigation of the accident doesn’t take a year to resolve.
