Drew Cain’s Blackmail Schemes Are Unraveling and the Line to Finish Him Off Is Getting Long on General Hospital
Willow Tait got to Drew first, but his blackmail schemes are unraveling and half of Port Charles wants him gone. We watched in Canada!

DREW’S DIRTY SECRETS ARE SPILLING AND WILLOW MIGHT HAVE COMPETITION
TL;DR: Drew Cain is clinging to life after Willow’s syringe surprise, but now his blackmail schemes are coming to light. Turns out he was forcing Portia to frame Michael for addiction. On General Hospital, the list of people who want Drew gone is growing by the hour.
Drew’s Downfall Is a Group Project Now
Hey American General Hospital fans — your episode got pre-empted today, but we watched it air in Canada and let us tell you: Drew Cain’s karma is arriving in WAVES and we are absolutely living for it.
As you know from yesterday, Willow celebrated her acquittal by jamming a syringe into Drew’s neck and whispering “Everything is going to work out, Drew. You’ll see.” Well, today that man is lying in a hospital bed with a “severe stroke” that could leave him with locked-in syndrome — fully conscious but completely unable to move, speak, or control anyone ever again.
But here’s where it gets even juicier: while Drew fights for his miserable life, his web of blackmail and manipulation is finally starting to unravel. And suddenly Willow isn’t the only person in Port Charles with a very good reason to want Drew Cain permanently out of commission.

Drew Was Blackmailing Portia to Frame Michael
Today’s episode dropped a bombshell that adds yet another tally to the “Drew Cain is a monster” scoreboard. During Portia’s board hearing, Curtis revealed to Laura that Drew was trying to force Portia to frame Michael for addiction. Let that sink in for a moment.
This man was so desperate to secure custody of Willow’s children that he was blackmailing a doctor into falsifying medical records to make Michael look like an addict. He wasn’t just controlling Willow — he had his claws in EVERYONE. Manipulating, threatening, and destroying anyone who stood between him and what he wanted.
And now that Drew is incapacitated and can’t intimidate anyone into silence? The truth is pouring out like water through a broken dam. Portia is finally able to defend herself. Curtis is spilling the tea to Laura. The carefully constructed empire of fear that Drew built is crumbling in real time.
The Line to Finish Drew Cain Off Is Getting Longer
Here’s what has us absolutely cackling on General Hospital: Willow might have gotten to Drew first, but she is FAR from the only person in Port Charles who’d love to see him gone permanently.
Think about it. Portia was being blackmailed. Michael was about to be framed for addiction. Sonny is furious about the threats to his son. Curtis watched Drew torment his wife. Kai and Trina committed crimes to help take Drew down. Nina has been kept away from her daughter. Even Tracy looked at Drew’s hospital bed and said “karma has finally come for Drew” without a single tear in her eye.
If Drew somehow recovers from his “stroke” — and let’s be honest, we’re not exactly lighting candles for that outcome — he’s going to wake up to a town full of people who now know exactly what he’s been doing behind closed doors. And none of them are going to be happy to see him.
Willow may have started this, but if more of Drew’s victims decide they want to finish the job? We wouldn’t be surprised. At this point, Port Charles might need to form a queue.
Tracy Said What Everyone Was Thinking
We have to give a standing ovation to Tracy Quartermaine for delivering the line of the episode. When she heard about Drew’s condition, she didn’t offer sympathy or concern. She simply declared: “Karma has finally come for Drew.”
ICONIC. SAVAGE. SPEAKING FOR THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE.
Nobody at that hospital shed a tear for Drew Cain. Not Tracy. Not Nina. Not a single soul. The overwhelming energy was less “thoughts and prayers” and more “well, well, well, if it isn’t the consequences of your actions.”
Drew spent months thinking he was untouchable. Turns out he touched too many people the wrong way, and now they’re all watching him suffer with varying degrees of satisfaction. Willow destroyed the syringe evidence like the unbothered queen she is, and even if someone eventually figures out what she did, good luck finding a jury in Port Charles that would convict her.
The people have spoken. Team “Drew Gets What He Deserves” is undefeated.

I find it wonderful that finally Willow is taking charge of her life even though it may be in the wrong way. Drew having locked in syndrome is a good out come for the character who has threatened and disrupted so many lives. For him to be able to see and hear but not to be able to do or say anything for the rest of his life is a wonderful end to an outrageous individual who has hurt so many and has caused so much frustration to viewers for so long. Unless writers with their love for Drew allow him to recover as they did from the gun shots I feel the sickness is better than killing him off. Drew would have to suffer for the rest of his life instead of being shot or something else which may not cause as much misery for him. It will be interesting to see how this story continues.
