WHAT IF DREW CAIN ISN’T A VICTIM AT ALL AND THIS WHOLE “MURDER PLOT” WAS PLANNED WITH JENZ SIDWELL?

TL;DR:ย A fan just blew our minds with a theory about Drew Cain and Jenz Sidwell onย General Hospital. What if Drew isn’t a victim of Willow’s syringe OR Sidwell’s poison? What if Drew and Sidwell were working TOGETHER to try and fake his death all along? This changes everything.

Our Readers Keep Delivering

Just when we thought we’d explored every possible angle of the Drew Cain situation onย General Hospital, a fan named Diana C Burch dropped a comment that stopped us in our tracks.

According to Diana, she read somewhere that Drew and Jenz Sidwell were “working together to set up a fake death.”

We need to sit with this for a moment because if this is true? EVERYTHING we thought we knew about this storyline just went out the window.

Do you think Drew faked his own death? Write to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com!

Let’s Talk About What We Already Know

Here’s where it gets interesting. We’ve already established that Jenz Sidwell called Drew Cain a “liability” and was actively looking for a new DC connection to replace him. Sidwell has Wyndemere, resources, and zero moral compass.

Last week, our readers Pink and Marilyn Oliphant theorized that Sidwell might have poisoned Drew BEFORE Willow ever got to him with that syringe. The headache came first, remember? Drew was already showing symptoms before Willow made her move.

But Diana’s theory flips the script entirely. What if that headache wasn’t Sidwell trying to eliminate Drew? What if it was Drew and Sidwell STAGING symptoms to make Willow’s attack look like the cause of death?

Why Would Drew Cain Fake His Death?

Let’s think about this. Drew Cain has enemies EVERYWHERE. Willow was clearly plotting against him. His political career was in shambles. His family had turned on him. The man had painted himself into a corner with nowhere to go.

Now imagine Jenz Sidwell approaches him with an offer. “Let me help you disappear. You start showing symptoms, your wife finishes the job thinking she’s a criminal mastermind, and you walk away clean while she takes the fall.”

It’s diabolical. It’s twisted. It’s absolutely something Drew Cain would do.

The Evidence That Supports This Theory

Think about how smoothly everything went down. Drew conveniently had a “terrible headache” before the champagne celebration. He started slurring his words at JUST the right moment. Willow had JUST been acquitted, making her the perfect patsy with motive.

And where is Jenz Sidwell in all of this? Operating out of Wyndemere with his secret lab, his shady connections, and his mysterious projects that Britt is being forced to complete.

What if one of those projects involves keeping Drew Cain alive and hidden until the heat dies down?

What This Means for Willow

If Drew was trying to fake his death with Sidwell’s help, Willow Tait is being played on a level she can’t even comprehend. She thinks she’s won. She thinks she took out her abuser and got away with it. She’s walking around Port Charles with that satisfied smile while Drew is potentially sipping cocktails in a Wyndemere bunker.

The woman injected her husband with something and watched him collapse, believing she’d finally freed herself. But if he’s alive? If he planned the whole thing? She’s not an attempted murderer at all. She’s just a pawn in Drew and Sidwell’s chess game.

Friday’s Spoilers Have Us Shook

Here’s what really has us spiraling. Friday’s spoilers say “Jason connects the dots.” WHAT dots? What if Jason discovers that Drew isn’t actually incapacitated? What if he finds out his twin was working with Sidwell this whole time?

The fallout would be catastrophic. Jason would have to decide whether to expose Drew or protect his brother. Willow would discover she’s been manipulated into thinking she committed murder. And Sidwell would have the ultimate leverage over everyone involved.

Thank you, Diana C Burch, for absolutely wrecking our week with this theory. We’re going to need a minute.

What do you think? Is Drew Cain really a victim, or is he playing everyone? Sound off!

WATCH THIS: Will Jason finish the job?

@soapoperamag Will Jason be the one to finish off his twin? Sure, slaughtering a family member is awful, but in this case, a win is a win, right? #GH โ™ฌ original sound – Soap Opera Magazine
