GH’s Josslyn Jacks Went From College Student to Domestic Terrorist in One Episode and We Are SCREAMING!
Josslyn Jacks used C4 explosives to blow up Spoon Island’s power grid on GH. She went rogue against Jack Brennan’s orders and trapped everyone.
JOSSLYN JACKS JUST USED C4 EXPLOSIVES TO BLOW UP SPOON ISLAND’S POWER GRID!
TL;DR: Josslyn Jacks lied to Brick about a “school project,” got intel on how to cut power to Spoon Island, and then literally detonated C4 explosives to blow the grid on General Hospital. She went rogue against Jack Brennan’s direct orders, and now everyone on that island is trapped in a blizzard with no power. Our girl is UNHINGED and we are here for it.
Joss Asked Brick How to Commit a Felony
Let’s talk about the absolute AUDACITY of Josslyn Jacks on Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital.
This girl invited Brick over to her apartment, looked him dead in the face, and asked how to cut power to all of Spoon Island. When he rightfully spit out his water in shock, she claimed it was for a “school project.” A SCHOOL PROJECT. About taking down power grids during a major storm. Sure, Joss. Totally normal PCU coursework.
Brick, bless his heart, actually gave her the information. He explained she’d need to shut down the router and would need a map of the grid, but that it would be hard to get without proper clearance because it’s a security risk.
Guess what Josslyn Jacks did with that information? She got herself some C4 explosives, marched herself to the power grid, and BLEW IT UP.

Jack Brennan Told Her to Stand Down
Here’s the thing. Jack Brennan specifically told Joss to STAY AWAY from Spoon Island. Just the day before, she pitched him her brilliant plan: with the blizzard coming, everyone would evacuate to the mainland, giving them the perfect opportunity to search Wyndemere for Sidwell’s secret lab.
Jack admitted the plan could work but said they didn’t have the proper team in place, and he absolutely would not let Joss do it. He ordered her to go and to stay away from Spoon Island.
So what did Josslyn Jacks do? She eavesdropped on Jack’s conversation with Director Cullum, heard him say he’s only dating Carly to get intel out of her, and apparently decided that was the last straw. If Jack wasn’t going to do something about Sidwell, she would handle it herself.
Everyone Is Now Trapped
Thanks to Joss’s little demolition project, the following people are now stuck on Spoon Island during a massive blizzard with no power:
Sidwell. Ava. Marco. Lucas (her own UNCLE). Britt. And oh yeah, ANNA DEVANE, who is being held captive in the basement by what appears to be a very much alive Faison.
Sidwell told the crew that the generator can only power a few rooms, and someone with wild white hair just walked into Anna’s cell while she screamed “NO!”
Josslyn Jacks didn’t just go rogue. She potentially just got a whole bunch of people killed, including her uncle who she feels guilty about putting in danger in the first place. The irony is not lost on us.
This Has Been Building for Weeks
For those who haven’t been paying attention, Joss has been a secret WSB agent this whole time. She was dating fellow agent Vaughn until Jack reassigned him. She encouraged Lucas to move to Spoon Island to gather intel on Sidwell. And she’s been feeling increasingly guilty about using her family for spy games.
When Jack deactivated her and told her to go back to being a normal college student, Joss clearly took that as a suggestion rather than an order. She’s been investigating Faison’s Cold Fusion project, she knows something sinister is happening in those catacombs, and she watched Marco forbid Lucas from exploring them.
Now she’s taken matters into her own hands with LITERAL EXPLOSIVES.
What Happens Next?
Friday’s spoilers say “Jason connects the dots.” We’re guessing those dots include figuring out that Joss just committed an act of domestic terrorism against Spoon Island. Carly is going to lose her entire mind when she finds out her daughter has been a WSB agent this whole time AND just blew up critical infrastructure.
And somewhere on that dark, powerless island, Faison might be about to reunite with Anna in the worst possible way.
Josslyn Jacks really said “if you won’t let me be a spy, I’ll just become a terrorist instead.” Iconic behavior, honestly.
Do you think Joss made the right call going rogue? Sound off!
